4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Assembly

The Midea Air Circulation Fan can be assembled as a floor fan or a desk fan by adjusting the connecting pole.

  1. Place the base on a flat, stable surface.
  2. For Floor Fan: Insert the connecting pole into the base. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. For Desk Fan: Omit the connecting pole.
  4. Attach the fan head unit to the top of the connecting pole (for floor fan) or directly to the base (for desk fan). Ensure it is firmly attached.
  5. Connect the power adapter to the fan and then plug it into a suitable power outlet.

4.2 Placement

Place the fan in a location where it can effectively circulate air without obstruction. Ensure there is sufficient space around the fan for optimal airflow and oscillation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The fan can be controlled via the touch panel on the unit, the remote control, AI voice commands, or a Bluetooth applet.

5.2 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the fan on or off.
  • Wind Speed Adjustment: Use the wind adjustment button to cycle through 15 different wind speeds. The current gear will be shown on the display.
  • Oscillation:
    • Press the horizontal oscillation button to activate 120° left-right automatic shaking.
    • Press the vertical oscillation button to activate 135° up-down automatic pitching.

5.3 Wind Modes

The fan offers multiple wind modes for personalized comfort:

  • Sleeping Wind (3 gears): Designed for quiet and gentle airflow during sleep.
  • Ecological Wind (3 gears): Mimics natural wind patterns for a refreshing experience.
  • Custom Wind (15 gears): Allows precise adjustment of wind intensity.

5.4 Timer Function

Set the fan to automatically turn off after a specified period, up to 15 hours. Press the timer button on the control panel or remote to adjust the duration.

5.5 Aromatherapy Feature

The fan includes a feature to add fragrance to the airflow. Locate the designated compartment (usually near the fan grille or on the back) and add essential oils, aromatherapy tablets, or mosquito repellent liquid as desired.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Fan

Regular cleaning helps maintain the fan's performance and air purification capabilities.

  1. Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan.
  3. For the fan blades and grilles, use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust.
  4. The fan features antibacterial blades and filters. While these reduce bacterial growth, periodic cleaning of dust and debris is still recommended.
  5. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the fan in water.
