3. Setup and Installation

The X-TIGER tail light offers two installation methods: saddle rail mounting and seatpost mounting.

3.1 Saddle Mount Version

1. Fix the two ends of the seat cushion bracket under the seat with zip ties.
2. Place the taillight into the seat cushion bracket and rotate it 90°.
3. Installation is completed.

3.2 Seatpost Mount Version

1. Fix the seat tube bracket onto the seat tube with the silicone strap.
2. Put the taillight into the seat tube bracket and rotate it 90°.
3. Installation is completed.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

• **Manual Mode**: Long press the power button for 0.5 seconds to turn on the device. To switch modes, click the power button. To turn off, long press the power button again.
• **Intelligent Mode**: Double-click the power button to start. This mode includes brake sensing and intelligent start-stop functions. To switch modes, click the power button. To turn off, long press the power button.

The device features a memory gear function; the last used lighting mode will be restored by default when powered on again.

4.2 Intelligent Features

• **Brake Sensing**: In automatic mode, the tail lights light up at maximum brightness when braking is detected, alerting vehicles and pedestrians behind for 3 seconds.
• **Automatic Sleep Mode (Vibration Induction)**: After being stationary for about 45 seconds, the light enters sleep mode. It will automatically activate when vibration (movement) is sensed.
• **Light Sensor Start and Stop**: During riding, when the surrounding light is dim, the tail light will automatically turn on. When the light is strong, the tail light will automatically turn off after 30 seconds.

4.3 Lighting Modes

The tail light offers 6 distinct lighting modes. Click the power button after booting up to cycle through them:

4.4 Battery Indicator

When the power is turned off, press the button to check the current battery level:

• **Green**: 80% - 100% charge
• **Blue**: 30% - 80% charge
• **Red**: Below 30% charge

5. Charging and Maintenance

5.1 Charging the Device

The tail light is equipped with a 400mAh battery and supports Type-C charging.

• Use only the provided Type-C charging cable to charge the device. Using other cables may cause damage.
• Ensure the power is OFF during charging to prevent overheating.

• **Light not turning on**: Ensure the battery is charged. Long press (0.5s for manual, double-click for intelligent) the power button to turn on.
• **Light not charging**: Verify the Type-C cable is correctly connected and the power source is active. Ensure the device is powered off during charging.
• **Intelligent features not working**: Ensure the device is in Intelligent Mode (double-click to activate). Check for obstructions to the light sensor.
• **Overheating during charging**: This can occur if the device is charged while powered on. Always power off the device before charging.
