The JR-CB2S features a physical switch on the side to toggle between Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) modes. Ensure the device is powered on before switching modes.
5.4 Transmitter Mode (TX) Setup
In TX mode, the JR-CB2S transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth device (e.g., TV, PC, airplane entertainment system) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- Switch to TX Mode: Toggle the RX/TX switch to the 'TX' position. The display will show 'TX MODE'.
- Connect to Audio Source: Use the included 3.5mm AUX cable or RCA cable to connect the JR-CB2S to the audio output port of your device (e.g., TV, computer, airplane seat audio jack).
- Pair with Bluetooth Headphones/Speakers:
- Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode.
- The JR-CB2S will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth devices. The display will show 'Connecting...' and list available devices (e.g., A: Earphone, B: Headphone).
- Use the 'Confirm' button to select the desired device(s) for pairing.
- Once connected, the display will show 'Connected' and the device name(s).
- Enjoy Audio: You can now listen to audio from your non-Bluetooth source wirelessly through your paired Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

5.5 Receiver Mode (RX) Setup
In RX mode, the JR-CB2S receives audio from a Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, laptop) and outputs it to a non-Bluetooth audio system (e.g., car stereo, home amplifier, wired speakers).
- Switch to RX Mode: Toggle the RX/TX switch to the 'RX' position. The display will show 'RX MODE'.
- Connect to Audio System: Use the included 3.5mm AUX cable or RCA cable to connect the JR-CB2S to the audio input port of your car stereo, home amplifier, or wired speakers.

Important Note for Car Use: Calling functions are not supported by this Bluetooth adapter in RX mode.

5.6 Volume Control
Use the 'Sound Increase' and 'Sound Reduction' buttons on the device to adjust the volume. The current volume level will be displayed on the OLED screen.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the device dry. Moisture can damage the internal circuits.
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable and try again.
- Cannot connect to Bluetooth device: Make sure the JR-CB2S is in the correct mode (TX for transmitting, RX for receiving) and your target device is in pairing mode. Ensure both devices are within the 15m Bluetooth range.
- No audio output/input: Check all cable connections (3.5mm AUX or RCA) are secure and plugged into the correct audio ports on both the JR-CB2S and your external audio equipment. Verify the volume levels on both the JR-CB2S and the connected audio system/device.
- Audio lag or instability: Ensure there are no major obstructions between the JR-CB2S and the connected Bluetooth device. Move closer if possible. The Bluetooth 5.4 technology provides low latency and stable connection, but environmental factors can sometimes interfere.
- Type-C port not working for audio: The Type-C port on the JR-CB2S is exclusively for charging. It does not support audio input or output.
- Calling functions not working in car: The JR-CB2S does not support calling functions when used as a receiver in a car audio system. It is designed for music streaming only.
8. User Tips
- Dual Device Connection: The JR-CB2S supports connecting to two devices simultaneously in both TX and RX modes. This is useful for sharing audio or connecting multiple sources/outputs.
- Stable Initial Connection: Users report that the initial connection is generally stable, thanks to Bluetooth 5.4. For best results, ensure devices are close during the initial pairing process.
- Versatile Use: Don't limit its use to just cars. It's great for older home stereos, TVs without Bluetooth, or even airplane entertainment systems to use with your wireless headphones.
