  2. Waterproof Test (Crucial Step):
    • Before inserting your phone, perform a waterproof test. Close the empty case securely.
    • Use the included vacuum pump to create a vacuum inside the case via the vacuum exhaust port.
    • Submerge the empty case in water for at least 30 minutes.
    • Inspect the case thoroughly for any signs of water leakage. If any leakage is observed, do not use the case with your phone and contact support.

    • Remove any existing phone cases or shells. This equipment supports bare metal installation for optimal shooting effect.
    • Ensure your phone's screen is clean and free of smudges.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the exterior of the diving case thoroughly with fresh water.
  • Drying: Wipe the case dry with a soft cloth. Ensure no water droplets remain on the seals before opening.
  • Lens Care: Use the provided lens cleaning cloth to gently clean the transparent window and lens area. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the surface.
  • Seal Inspection: Regularly inspect the O-rings and seals for any signs of wear, cracks, or debris. Clean them if necessary.
  • Storage: Store the diving case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Important Warning: The inner shell is not waterproof. Do not rinse the inner shell, as it may damage the internal circuit.

Troubleshooting

Case is fogging up:
This can happen due to temperature differences. Use the vacuum pump before submerging the case to remove air and prevent fogging.
Bluetooth connection issues:
Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on and the case is charged. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device. If issues persist, restart both your phone and the diving case.
Buttons are stiff or unresponsive (out of water):
The buttons are designed with greater resistance for underwater operation to prevent accidental touches due to water pressure. They may feel stiffer in non-water environments. This is normal. If they are completely unresponsive, check Bluetooth connection and battery level.
Cannot switch camera modes on Samsung phone:
If your Samsung camera app only shows Photo/Video/More, and switching to "More" prevents returning, press the shutter button once to navigate back.
Water leakage during waterproof test:
Immediately remove the case from water. Re-check all seals and ensure the case is closed correctly. If leakage persists, do not use with your phone and contact customer support.

User Tips

  • Always perform a dry run with your phone in the case (without submerging) to familiarize yourself with the button controls before going underwater.
  • For best photo quality, ensure your phone's camera lens is perfectly clean before placing it in the case.
  • Consider using a screen protector on your phone for added peace of mind, although the case provides ample protection.
  • Practice using the vacuum pump to ensure you can effectively remove air and prevent fogging during your dives.
  • Keep the wrist strap securely attached to prevent accidental drops, especially in strong currents.
