6. Setup
6.1 Initial Charging
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the fan.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- For izzCool 20 Pro, use a PD/QC fast charging adapter for optimal charging speed (approx. 1 hour 50 minutes). For izzCool 20, use a 5V2A adapter (approx. 1.5 hours).
- The LED display (Pro version) will indicate charging status. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use.
6.2 Filling the Water Tank (for Mist Function)
The izzCool fan features a ring-shaped water tank for the misting function:
- Locate the water tank cap, usually integrated into the fan head design.
- Open the cap carefully.
- Fill the tank with clean, cool water. Do not overfill.
- Securely close the water tank cap.
6.3 Attaching the Lanyard
For convenient carrying, attach the included lanyard:
- Thread the thin loop of the lanyard through the designated lanyard hole on the fan's body.
- Pass the larger part of the lanyard through the loop and pull tight to secure it.
7. Operation
7.1 Power On/Off
- To power on, slide the Lockout Switch to the unlocked position (if applicable) and then press and hold the power button.
- To power off, press and hold the power button again.
7.2 Adjusting Fan Speed
- izzCool 20 Pro: Use the Fan Slider to steplessly adjust the wind speed across 100 levels. Slide up for increased speed, down for decreased speed.
- izzCool 20: Press the fan speed button repeatedly to cycle through the 4 available wind speeds.
7.3 Activating Mist Function
- Press the mist button once to activate Mist Mode.
- Press the mist button again to activate Cool Mist Mode (Fan + Mist).
- Press a third time to turn off the mist function.
7.4 Using the Lockout Switch
The lockout switch prevents accidental activation during transport or storage:
- Slide the switch to the locked position to disable all buttons.
- Slide the switch to the unlocked position to enable normal operation.
