Thank you for purchasing the U'King 200W COB Par Light. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new stage lighting fixture. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

Safety Instructions

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the product.

1. Plug the device into a grounded power outlet for indoor use only.
2. Do not expose the device to rain or moisture to avoid the risk of fire or electric shock. Ensure no flammable objects are near the device.
3. Install the equipment in a well-ventilated place, at least 50cm from any surface. Ensure that ventilation slots are not blocked.
4. Disconnect the equipment from the power supply before any operation, maintenance, or cleaning.
5. The ambient operating temperature should not exceed 40°C, and the maximum ambient temperature is 45°C. Do not operate the device at higher temperatures.
6. If a fault occurs, the equipment should be stopped immediately. Do not attempt to repair the equipment yourself. Improper maintenance can result in damage and malfunction. Contact technical support for repair approval. Only original parts and accessories should be used. Ensure the power cord is not blocked or damaged.
7. Do not expose your eyes directly to the light sources, as this can be harmful and may trigger seizures in sensitive individuals.
8. These lamps are intended for decoration and stage lighting effects only, and are not suitable for general household lighting.
9. Fix the equipment securely using the screw holes on the bracket to prevent vibration and movement during operation. Always verify that the mounting structure is strong enough to withstand at least ten times the equipment's weight.

Setup

Physical Installation

1. Attach the carrying handle to the light using the provided knobs and spacers.
2. Securely mount the light using the screw holes on the bracket. Ensure the mounting surface or truss system is stable and can support the weight of the fixture.

Power and DMX Connection

1. Connect the power cord to the 'POWER IN' port on the rear panel of the light and then to a grounded AC90-220V, 50-60Hz power outlet.
2. For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the 'DMX IN' port. If linking multiple lights, connect from 'DMX OUT' of the first light to 'DMX IN' of the next.
3. The 'POWER OUT' port can be used to daisy-chain power to other compatible fixtures.

Operating Instructions

Display Panel Operations

After turning on the light, use the control buttons on the rear panel:

• MENU: Press to switch between different menu options or operating modes.
• UP/DOWN: Use these buttons to select values or navigate through menu options.
• ENTER: Press to confirm a selection or save changes.

The screen saver will automatically activate after 30 seconds of no key operation. Press any button to reactivate the display.

Operating Modes

The U'King 200W COB Par Light supports several operating modes:

• Sound-activated: The light reacts to ambient sound, changing patterns or intensity based on audio input.
• Master-Slave: Link multiple lights together. One light acts as the master, controlling the others (slaves) to synchronize effects.
• Self-propelled: The light runs through pre-programmed sequences and patterns automatically.
• DMX512: For professional control, connect to a DMX controller to precisely manage light parameters such as dimming, strobe, and color temperature.

Maintenance

General Care

• Regularly clean the lens and housing with a soft, dry cloth to maintain optimal light output and prevent dust buildup.
• Ensure the cooling fan and ventilation slots on the rear panel remain clear of obstructions to prevent overheating.
• Periodically check all cables and connections for wear or damage. Replace any damaged cables immediately.

Fuse Replacement

If the device does not power on, the fuse may need replacement:

1. Disconnect the device from the power supply.
2. Locate the fuse holder on the rear panel.
3. Using a screwdriver, carefully remove the fuse holder from its position.
4. Take out the burnt fuse.
5. Replace it with a new fuse of the exact same characteristics.
6. Re-insert and secure the fuse holder.
7. Reconnect the device to the power supply.

WARNING: If the fuse continues to blow after replacement, stop using the device immediately and contact customer support. Continued use may cause serious damage.

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on: Check power connection, ensure the power outlet is functional, and verify the fuse (see Maintenance section).
• No DMX control: Ensure DMX cables are correctly connected (DMX IN/OUT), check DMX controller settings, and verify the DMX address on the light.
• Overheating: Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit and that the cooling fan is not obstructed. Operate within specified ambient temperature limits.
• Inconsistent light output: Check for loose connections, ensure the power supply is stable, and try resetting the device.

User Tips

• For optimal performance and longevity, avoid operating the lights in extremely dusty or humid environments.
• When using multiple lights in Master-Slave mode, ensure all slave units are set to the correct slave mode and connected in sequence.
• Experiment with different color temperatures (warm white, cool white, mixed) to achieve the desired ambiance for your event.
• Always secure the light properly to prevent accidental falls, especially when mounted overhead.
