4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Preparing for Test/Cleaning

  1. Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface.
  2. Connect the power supply as described in Section 3.3.
  3. Fill the tank with the appropriate test fluid. The tank capacity is 150ml, and the cylinder volume is 100ml. Observe the liquid level through the visual indicator.
  4. Select the correct adapters and washers for your injectors.
  5. Mount the injectors onto the test rack using the base plate, lock nuts, and block screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  6. Connect the signal cords to the injectors.

4.2 Performing Tests

Use the control panel (refer to Section 3.2) to operate the unit:

  • Mode Selection (E): Press to cycle through different test modes (Uniformity, Atomization, Tightness, Fuel Injection Volume Detection). The selected mode will be indicated on the display (B).
  • Adjust Increase/Decrease (D/C): Use these buttons to adjust parameters such as RPM (100-9900 step 100) and Time (30-600 Seconds) for specific tests. The current working parameter will be shown on the display area (A).
  • Start/Stop (F): Press to begin or end a test cycle.
  • Pressure Adjustment: The unit has a fixed oil pressure of 1.2-1.5 bar. The pressure gauge (2) indicates the pressure delivered. The Fuel Filler Port (13) also acts as a Pressure Release. Loosen it slightly while the Fluid Deliver Switch (9) is off to release residual pressure.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Fluid Management: The test fluid can be recycled. Ensure the fluid is clean and free of debris. Replace the fluid periodically as needed.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the unit in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure all fluid is drained if storing for an extended period.
  • Component Inspection: Periodically check all hoses, connections, and adapters for wear or damage. Replace any worn parts to ensure optimal performance and safety.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Unit does not power on: Check the DC12V vehicle battery connection and ensure it is providing sufficient power. Verify the power cords are securely connected.
  • No fluid delivery: Ensure the tank has sufficient test fluid. Check that the Fluid Deliver Switch (9) is in the correct position (ON for operation, OFF for draining). Verify there are no blockages in the hoses.
  • Inconsistent spray pattern/volume: Ensure injectors are securely mounted and adapters are correctly fitted. Check the test fluid quality. If issues persist, the injector itself may be faulty.
  • Pressure issues: The oil pressure is fixed. If the pressure gauge shows abnormal readings, ensure the system is properly sealed and there are no leaks.
  • Display not working: Check power supply. If the unit powers on but the display is blank or faulty, contact support.
