3.2 Initial Charging
New batteries are typically not fully charged. For optimal performance and longevity, follow these steps for the first use:
- Use the battery until approximately 5% of its power remains. Avoid discharging to 0%, as this can degrade battery performance and prevent future charging.
- Charge the battery in the off state until the power indicator turns green or off.
- Repeat this charge and discharge cycle three to four times to achieve the battery's highest efficiency.
During charging and discharging, a slight temperature increase is normal.
4. Operating Instructions
To maximize your battery's lifespan and ensure safe operation, adhere to the following guidelines:
- Always use the appointed charger for your battery.
- When charging, ensure the computer is turned off. Do not unplug the power supply during the charging process.
- Allow the battery to fully charge and discharge. Avoid charging the battery when it is not fully discharged, or discharging it when it is not fully charged, as this can negatively impact battery life.
- Avoid using the battery in environments with extremely high or low temperatures.
5. Maintenance and Safety
Proper maintenance and adherence to safety warnings are crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your battery.
5.1 General Maintenance
- If the battery is idle for a long time, charge it once a month to maintain the lithium-ion battery's health.
- Even when fully charged, batteries naturally discharge over time. Recharge if stored for an extended period.
5.2 Safety Warnings
The battery label includes critical safety warnings. Please observe them carefully:
- Please use the appointed chargers.
- Do not dismantle or short circuit the battery.
- Destroying the battery or plunging it into fire might result in an explosion.
- Stop using the battery after it is immersed in water.
- Please recycle or dispose of the battery properly.
- Avoid artificial impact, falling, or heating the battery.

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 New Battery Not Charging
If your new battery does not charge initially, it is usually not a defect. Due to voltage and current instability during the first charge, the device might stop charging prematurely. If this occurs:
- Completely discharge the battery (use it until it reaches a low percentage, ideally around 5%).
- Recharge the battery fully.
- Repeat this process a few times. The first charge cycle may require several repetitions to fully activate the battery.
6.2 Slow Charging or Activation Time
Most laptop batteries take several hours to fully charge. While the first 75% may charge relatively quickly, the remaining 25% often takes more time. This is normal for lithium-ion batteries.
7. Warranty and Support
Your RozFaro laptop battery comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.

8. User Tips
- Verify Compatibility: Always double-check the battery part number and laptop model compatibility before purchase and installation to ensure a perfect fit and function.
- First Use Cycle: For new batteries, perform 3-4 full charge/discharge cycles (from ~5% to 100%) to calibrate the battery and optimize its performance.
- Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose your laptop or battery to very high or very low temperatures, as this can significantly reduce battery life and performance.
- Regular Use: If you frequently use your laptop plugged in, consider discharging the battery to about 50-60% every few weeks to keep the cells active.
