8. User Tips

  • Always start with lower voltage and current settings when connecting a new load or battery to avoid damage.
  • Utilize the data storage groups (M0-M9) to save frequently used voltage and current settings for quick recall.
  • For critical applications, regularly monitor the external temperature probe readings to ensure safe operating conditions, especially during prolonged charging cycles.
  • Familiarize yourself with the lock function to prevent accidental parameter changes during operation.

9. Troubleshooting

  • No Power/Display:
    • Check if the hard power switch on the main board is ON.
    • Verify input power connections and ensure the input voltage is within the 12-85V range.
  • No Output:
    • Ensure the output is enabled by short pressing the green ON/OFF button on the display.
    • Check output connections to the load/battery.
    • Verify that the set output voltage and current are appropriate for the load.
  • Device Damage After Battery Connection:
    • This often indicates reverse polarity connection. Refer to safety warnings regarding output reverse connection protection.
  • Charging Stops Unexpectedly (with temperature probe):
    • The external temperature probe may have detected an over-temperature condition. Check the battery temperature and ensure proper cooling.
  • Inaccurate Readings:
    • Ensure all connections are tight and free from corrosion.
    • Recalibration may be necessary if persistent inaccuracies are observed (refer to advanced settings or contact support).

10. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Environment: Operate and store the device in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and corrosive gases.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fan and heat sinks are not obstructed to maintain proper airflow.
  • Connections: Periodically check all input and output connections for tightness and signs of wear.
