1. Introduction

The Purerobo W-S9S is a smart window cleaning robot designed to efficiently clean various glass surfaces in your home or office. Equipped with advanced features like ultrasonic atomization, intelligent planning, and robust suction, it simplifies the task of window cleaning. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Purerobo W-S9S robot.

The upgraded pressure sensitivity and Smart Chip with a 32-bit ARM framework allow the W-S9S to handle complex cleaning environments. It features real-time monitoring of precision air pressure sensing, enabling it to work smoothly on various surfaces including frameless glass, large or small window frame glass, glass doors, frosted glass, and tiled walls.

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to prepare your Purerobo W-S9S for operation:

  1. Attach Mop Cloths: Stick the mop cloths firmly onto the cleaning pads on the underside of the robot.

  3. Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank plug and use the provided spray bottle to add water or a suitable window cleaning solution. The robot features a double water tank design with a total capacity of 50ml.

  5. Secure Safety Rope: For outdoor cleaning or high windows, always fix the safety rope indoors to a secure anchor point to prevent the machine from falling accidentally. The safety rope has a 100kgf tensile strength.

  7. Connect Power: Plug in the power supply and ensure the power connector is tightened securely. The robot requires continuous power during operation.
  8. Initial Placement: Place the robot on the glass surface. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to start the machine.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Methods

The Purerobo W-S9S can be controlled via its remote control or through the Tuya Smart/Smart Life mobile application.

Remote Control Operation:

  • Use the directional keys on the remote control to manually operate the machine's movement.
  • To select a cleaning mode, press the corresponding mode button (N, Z, or N+Z).
  • The machine automatically sprays water when switched on. To cancel automatic spray, click the water spray mode switching button.
  • To manually spray water, click the manual spray button. Each click will trigger a spray.

Smart APP Control:

  • Download and open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
  • Click the "+" icon in the app to connect to the robot via Bluetooth.
  • Use the directional buttons within the app to operate the machine.
  • Click the mode switch button to choose your desired cleaning mode.
  • Click the water drop icon in the app to manually spray water. Each click will trigger a spray.

4.2 Cleaning Modes

The Purerobo W-S9S offers three customized cleaning modes for optimal results:

  • N Cleaning Mode: The machine moves up to the top of the window and then cleans in an N-shaped path, performing one regular wipe.
  • Z Cleaning Mode: The machine moves up to the top of the window and then cleans in a Z-shaped path, performing one regular wipe.
  • N+Z (Automatic) Cleaning Mode: The machine moves up to the top, starts with a Z-shaped path, and then switches to an N-shaped path for a strong wipe two times, ensuring full coverage and higher efficiency.

4.3 Intelligent Features

  • Memory Function: The robot has an original memory function, allowing it to automatically return to its starting spot after completing the cleaning cycle.

  • Ultrasonic Atomization: Utilizes 7~8μm mist coagulation and dust removal technology. Super strong atomized water droplets are sprayed in 4 directions (Up/Down/Left/Right) to better match dust particles, condense the package, and make it easier to remove various dust and stains without leaving water traces.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Purerobo W-S9S robot.

5.1 Cleaning Mop Cloths

The microfiber mop cloths are designed with five layers of fiber for effective dust removal and water absorption. After each use, remove the mop cloths and clean them. They can be washed and reused.

5.2 Cleaning Machine Belt and Track

To clean the machine belt and track:

  1. Press the rolling key on the remote control once to activate the belt movement.
  2. Carefully clean the track with a wet towel.
  3. Press the rolling key again to turn off the belt movement function.

6. Troubleshooting

Power Failure Protection:

The Purerobo W-S9S is equipped with a high-quality Lithium-ion battery and battery control chip for emergency power. If the main power is disconnected during operation, the robot can remain statically adsorbed on the glass for up to 40 minutes, preventing it from falling. Please remove the robot from the window promptly after a power failure.

Manual Control During Operation:

If the power cord becomes dislodged and the machine is in a hard-to-reach spot, you can use the remote control or the mobile app's manual mode (up/down/left/right) to guide the machine to an accessible position.
