4. Assembly Instructions

Your ESKUTE Polluno Plus e-bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly:

  1. Unpack the Bike: Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Install the Handlebar: Attach the handlebar to the stem. Ensure the cables are not twisted and the handlebar is centered. Tighten the stem bolts securely.
  3. Install the Front Wheel: Insert the front wheel into the fork dropouts. Ensure the disc brake rotor is correctly seated in the caliper. Secure with the quick-release skewer or axle nuts.
  4. Install the Pedals: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal screws counter-clockwise, and the right pedal screws clockwise. Apply a small amount of grease to the threads and tighten them firmly with a wrench.
  5. Install the Seat Post and Saddle: Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube. Adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position and secure it with the quick-release lever or bolt.
  6. Install Fenders and Rear Rack: Attach the front and rear fenders and the rear rack using the provided bolts and brackets.
  7. Install the Battery: Slide the 36V20AH Lithium Battery into its designated compartment on the downtube. Ensure it clicks into place securely.
  8. Check Brakes and Tires: Verify that both front and rear brakes are functioning correctly. Inflate tires to the recommended pressure (usually indicated on the tire sidewall).

5. Battery Charging and Installation

5.1 Charging the Battery

Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. The 36V20AH Lithium Battery can be charged both on and off the bike.

  1. Connect the charger to a standard wall outlet.
  2. Connect the charger's output plug to the battery's charging port.
  3. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (usually red for charging, green for fully charged).
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the battery and then from the wall outlet.

Important: Use only the charger provided by ESKUTE. Do not overcharge the battery. Do not leave charging unattended for extended periods.

5.2 Battery Installation/Removal

  • Installation: Align the battery with the downtube compartment and slide it in until it locks securely. Use the key to lock it in place if applicable.
  • Removal: Unlock the battery with the key (if applicable), then slide it out of the compartment.

6.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on the e-bike, press and hold the power button on the display unit for a few seconds.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.
