5. Installation

This unit is designed for standard single-DIN car stereo openings. Ensure your vehicle has a compatible slot.

5.2 Wiring Instructions

Refer to the wiring diagram provided with your vehicle and the 'Key Description' image (Figure 4.1) for proper connections. It is highly recommended to have this unit installed by a qualified professional to avoid damage to the unit or your vehicle.

  • Power Connection: Connect the ISO plug to your vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure correct positive (12V constant and 12V switched) and negative (ground) connections.
  • Speaker Connection: Connect your vehicle's speakers to the corresponding speaker wires from the ISO plug. Pay attention to positive and negative terminals for each speaker.
  • Antenna Connection: Connect your car's radio antenna to the antenna input on the rear of the unit.
  • RCA Output: If connecting external amplifiers, use the Left and Right Channel RCA outputs.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power button (usually the knob or a dedicated button) to turn the unit on or off.
  • Mode Selection: Press the MODE button (often integrated with Power button) to cycle through available sources: FM, Bluetooth, USB, TF Card, AUX.
  • Volume Control: Rotate the volume knob to adjust the sound level.
  • Loudness: Press the LOU button to enhance bass and treble at low volumes.
  • Clock Display: Press the CLK button to display the current time.

6.2 FM Radio

  • Band Selection: Press the BND button to switch between FM1, FM2, and FM3 bands.
  • Automatic Search and Store: Press and hold the BND/AMS button to automatically search for and store up to 18 radio stations across the FM bands.
  • Manual Tuning: Use the Previous/Next track buttons to manually tune to desired frequencies.
  • Preset Stations: Press buttons 1-6 to select stored preset stations.

6.3 Bluetooth Operation

The unit supports Bluetooth 5.1 for hands-free calling and audio streaming.

  • Pairing: Select Bluetooth mode. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "M12" (or similar name). Enter "0000" if a PIN is required.
  • Hands-Free Calling: When a call comes in, press the BND/AMS button to answer. Press it again to end the call.
  • Audio Streaming: Once paired, audio from your mobile device will stream to the car stereo. Use the Previous/Next track buttons on the stereo to control playback.

6.4 Media Playback (USB, TF Card, AUX)

  • USB/TF Card: Insert a USB drive or TF card into the respective slot. The unit will automatically switch to USB/TF mode and begin playback of supported audio formats (MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC).
  • Folder Function: Use the navigation buttons to browse folders on your USB drive or TF card.
  • Breakpoints and ID3: The unit supports playback from breakpoints and displays ID3 tag information for compatible files.
  • AUX Input: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX input using a 3.5mm audio cable. Select AUX mode on the unit.

6.5 Mobile App Control

This unit supports control via a mobile application. Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or on the seller's product page to download the official app. Connect your mobile phone via Bluetooth to control various functions of the player through the app, including sound effects, balance, and more.

6.6 Car Locator Function

When you can't find your car in a large parking lot, you can use your mobile phone to locate it. This feature requires the mobile app to be installed and connected via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connection must be active before the car's ignition is turned off. Disconnecting Bluetooth after the ignition is off will not affect the stored location.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit's front panel. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid Liquids: Keep liquids away from the unit to prevent damage.
  • Temperature: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures.
