2. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical products to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Do not use the charger if the cable is frayed, insulation is broken, or any part is damaged.
- Ensure the charging plug is fully inserted into the vehicle's charging port.
- Do not attempt to open, disassemble, or modify the charger.
- Keep children and pets away from the charging area during operation.
- Do not immerse the control box or charging plug in water.
- Operate within the specified temperature range (-30°C to +55°C).

3. Product Overview
The feyree Portable EV Charger features a robust design with a 5-meter cable and a control box equipped with an LCD display. It supports various EV charging standards.

3.1 Supported Plug Types
- Type 1 (SAE J1772): Common in North America and Japan.
- Type 2 (IEC 62196-2): Standard in Europe and many other regions.
- GB/T: Standard in China.
- TS-NACS: Tesla North American Charging Standard.




3.2 LCD Display Information
The control box features an LCD screen that provides real-time charging status and information:
- Charging State: Indicates if charging is active.
- Set Current: Displays the selected charging current (e.g., 32A).
- Charging Voltage: Shows the current voltage (e.g., 220.6V).
- Real-time Temperature: Displays the operating temperature (e.g., 31°C).
- Charging Current: Shows the actual current being drawn (e.g., 32.0A).
- Real-time Power: Displays the instantaneous power (e.g., 7.06Kw).
- Power Consumption: Accumulates total energy consumed (e.g., 0.00Kwh).
- Charging Time: Shows the duration of the current charging session.

4. Setup and Installation
- Inspect the Charger: Before each use, visually inspect the charging cable, plug, and control box for any signs of damage, wear, or foreign objects.
- Connect to Power Source: Plug the CEE male plug into a compatible CEE socket. Ensure the socket is properly grounded and rated for the charger's specifications (7KW, 32A, 1 Phase).
- Connect to Electric Vehicle: Insert the appropriate charging plug (Type 1, Type 2, GB/T, or TS-NACS) firmly into your electric vehicle's charging port. Ensure a secure connection.
- Verify Connection: The LCD display on the control box will illuminate and show initial status.

5. Operating Instructions
- Start Charging: Once connected to both the power source and the vehicle, the charger will typically initiate charging automatically or after a brief handshake with the vehicle. The LCD display will show real-time charging data.
- Adjust Charging Current: The charger allows for adjustable current settings. You can select from 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A, 20A, 25A, or 32A. The smart chip remembers your last preferred setting for convenience. Refer to Figure 5.1 for visual guidance on current adjustment and its impact on charging speed.
- Monitor Charging: Observe the LCD display for charging progress, current, voltage, and temperature.
- Automatic Stop: The charging station will automatically stop charging when the vehicle's battery is fully charged, protecting the car's battery.
- End Charging: To stop charging, first disconnect the charging plug from the vehicle, then unplug the CEE male plug from the power source.


5.1 Temperature Control Protection
The charger incorporates an intelligent temperature control chip to prevent excessive temperatures during prolonged charging. This ensures safe charging of your vehicle.
- <85°C & >70°C: Automatic current reduction.
- ≥85°C: Cut off within 0.2 seconds.
- ≤65°C: Automatic start charging.

6. Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check the charging cable, plugs, and control box for any physical damage, cracks, or signs of overheating.
- Cleaning: Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean the exterior of the charger. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the plugs are free of dust and debris.
- Storage: When not in use, store the charger in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The 5-meter cable can be easily coiled for storage.
- Cable Care: Avoid bending or kinking the cable sharply. Do not drive over the cable.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during charging, the LCD display will often provide error indicators. Refer to the following common issues:
- No Power/Display Off: Ensure the CEE plug is securely connected to the power source and the power outlet is active.
- Charging Not Initiating: Verify that both the CEE plug and the EV charging plug are fully and correctly inserted. Check the vehicle's charging status.
- Overheat Protection Triggered: If the charger stops due to overheating, allow it to cool down. Ensure adequate ventilation around the control box. Refer to the temperature control section for details.
- Leakage/Overcurrent/Overvoltage Protection: If any of these protections are triggered, the charger will stop. Disconnect the charger, inspect for any visible issues, and try reconnecting. If the problem persists, consult a qualified electrician or contact customer support.
- Error Codes on LCD: If specific error codes appear, note them down and refer to the warranty/support section for assistance.

There are two models of CEE plugs (Model A and Model B) that may be shipped. Both are functionally identical for the 7KW 32A charger.
