3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Playback Modes

The TB20 Plus supports two primary playback modes:

  • Asynchronous Playback: Content is stored locally on the device (internal 32GB storage or external USB drive) and played back independently. Content can be uploaded via USB, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or 4G (if equipped) from the NovaStar VNNOX platform.
  • Synchronous Playback: The device acts as a display controller for an external HDMI source. Content from the HDMI input is displayed directly on the LED screen. This mode is ideal for live feeds or dynamic content from a dedicated media server.

3.2 Cloud Control (VNNOX Platform)

The NovaStar VNNOX platform provides comprehensive cloud-based management for your TB20 Plus player(s).

  1. Account Registration: Register an account on the NovaStar VNNOX website or mobile application.
  2. Device Binding: Follow the instructions within the VNNOX platform to bind your TB20 Plus device using its unique ID.
  3. Content Management:
    • Upload videos, images, and other media files to the cloud.
    • Create playback programs and schedules.
    • Publish content to individual players or groups of players.
  4. Remote Monitoring: Monitor the operational status, network connectivity, and playback status of your devices in real-time.
  5. Screen Control: Adjust brightness, power on/off, and perform other remote operations.

3.3 Local Content Update (USB)

For offline content updates or quick changes, you can use a USB drive:

  2. Place your media files (videos, images) into a designated folder on the USB drive.
  3. Insert the USB drive into one of the USB-A ports on the TB20 Plus.
