1. Battery Installation
The HK011 speaker mic features a removable battery. To install or replace the battery:
- Carefully remove the battery cover on the back of the speaker mic.
- Insert the 1200mAh battery into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Replace the battery cover securely.

2. Connecting to Your Radio
The HK011 speaker mic is available with two connector types: Kenwood 2-Pin and GP328Plus Connector. Ensure you have the correct version for your radio.
- Kenwood 2-Pin Connector: Compatible with Retevis models such as RT5R, H777, RT1, RT3S, RT21, RT81, RT22, RT22S, RT24, RT26, RT27, RT50, RT15, RT617, RT618, RT619, RT667, RT668, RT56, RT43.
- GP328Plus Connector: Compatible with Retevis models such as HD1, HD2, RT29, RT29D, NR630, NR630S, NR30D, HA1G, RT48/RT648, RB23, RT87, RT47/RT647/RT47V, C1.
To connect:
- Align the connector pins with the corresponding ports on your two-way radio.
- Gently push the connector firmly into place until it clicks or is securely seated.


3. Charging the Speaker Mic
The HK011 speaker mic is equipped with a Type-C charging port.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Type-C port on the speaker mic.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible DC 5V 1V power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The indicator light will show the charging status (Red for charging, Green for fully charged).

Operating Instructions
1. Push-to-Talk (PTT) Button
The large PTT button is located on the side of the speaker mic. Press and hold this button to transmit your voice, and release it to listen.

2. Volume Control Knob
The volume control knob is located at the top of the speaker mic. Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust to a comfortable listening level.
