Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Align the battery pack with the grooves on the back of the radio.
2. Slide the battery upwards until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, press the release latch (usually at the bottom of the battery) and slide the battery downwards.

2. Antenna Attachment

1. Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is firmly seated.
2. Do not overtighten.

3. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The UV-S22 Pro V2 supports convenient Type-C charging.

1. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the port on the battery or the radio.
2. Plug the other end into a compatible USB power source.
3. The indicator light will be RED while charging.
4. The indicator light will turn GREEN when the battery is fully charged.

• To power on, rotate the Volume Knob/Switch clockwise.
• To power off, rotate the Volume Knob/Switch counter-clockwise until it clicks.
• Adjust the volume by rotating the Volume Knob/Switch.

3. Channel/Frequency Selection

• Use the Number Pad to directly input frequencies or channel numbers.
• Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys (often integrated with the number pad or dedicated buttons) to scroll through channels or frequencies.
• Press the 'OK/MENU' key to enter the menu and 'AIO/EXIT' to exit.
• The LCD display shows the current channel number, frequency, and other status indicators.

• To transmit, press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) Launch Key on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the MIC.
