Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Align the battery pack with the grooves on the back of the radio.
- Slide the battery upwards until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the release latch (usually at the bottom of the battery) and slide the battery downwards.
2. Antenna Attachment
- Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is firmly seated.
- Do not overtighten.
3. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the battery. The UV-S22 Pro V2 supports convenient Type-C charging.
- Connect the Type-C charging cable to the port on the battery or the radio.
- Plug the other end into a compatible USB power source.
- The indicator light will be RED while charging.
- The indicator light will turn GREEN when the battery is fully charged.

- To power on, rotate the Volume Knob/Switch clockwise.

- Use the Number Pad to directly input frequencies or channel numbers.
