The AUTOABC multimedia screen is designed for plug-and-play installation, requiring no coding. However, professional installation is highly recommended to ensure proper functionality and avoid damage to your vehicle.
Pre-Installation Checklist:
- Ensure your vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected before starting installation.
- Confirm compatibility with your car's model, year, and NTG system (NTG 4.5).
- Gather all necessary tools for dashboard disassembly and reassembly.
Installation Steps (General Guidance):
- Carefully remove the original car screen and dashboard trim.
- Connect the provided power cable, LVDS cable, and USB cable to the new multimedia unit and the car's wiring harness. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Mount the new 12.3-inch screen using the provided bracket.
- Before finalizing the installation and reassembling the dashboard, temporarily connect the battery and test every function on your car. This includes audio, touch response, CarPlay/Android Auto, camera inputs, and steering wheel controls.
- Once all functions are verified, disconnect the battery, secure all wiring, and reassemble the dashboard components.

- Q: How do I know if it's compatible with my car?
- A: On the description page of the product, we will provide a detailed list of compatible car models. If you are still not confident, you can contact the customer to send the model and original radio picture for us to check.
Audio Issues
- Q: Going into the CarPlay system, the sound doesn't work.
- A: You need to set up AUX audio or Bluetooth audio, which can be easily found in the user manual. If your car supports Bluetooth music, you need to use Bluetooth audio (best sound quality). Note: 1. Some models merely do not support Bluetooth music, then you can only use AUX audio. 2. Some car models do not support AUX audio and Bluetooth audio. Then you may need to activate AUX. 3. AirPlay/AutoLink/USB media playback does not support Bluetooth audio.
Camera Functionality
- Q: Reversing camera not working.
- A: First check if it is an aftermarket camera or stock camera. Then set for the camera in the module settings.
- If it is original camera, usually you don't need to connect any cable.
- If it is an aftermarket camera, check if the cable are connected correctly. It usually only needs to be connected to 12V power supply + rear view camera input. No other cables need to be connected.
- Is the DIP setting correct?
