2. Safety Instructions

3. Setup

- Place the ice maker on a firm, level countertop or surface.

3.3 Initial Cleaning

3.4 Adding Water
The HZB-20AF ice maker supports two methods for adding water:
- Barreled Water: Place a standard barreled water bottle (not included) onto the designated dispenser area on top of the unit.
- Manual Fill: Open the top lid and manually pour potable water into the water tank.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel Overview
The ice maker features a user-friendly push-button control panel with LED indicators:
- ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
- TIMER/CLEAN Button: Activates the self-cleaning function or sets a timer.
- '+' and '-' Buttons: Adjust settings, such as ice cube size or timer duration.
- Indicators: LED lights show working status, temperature, 'Ice Full', and 'Add Water'.

4.2 Ice Making Steps
- Add Water: Ensure the water tank is filled with potable water using either the barreled water method or manual fill.
- Power On & Select Size: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the machine. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select your desired ice cube size. The machine will begin the ice-making cycle, which typically completes in 7-15 minutes.
- Remove Ice: Once the ice basket is full, the 'Ice Full' indicator will illuminate. Use the provided ice scoop to remove the ice cubes.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Regular Cleaning
To ensure optimal performance and hygiene, regular cleaning is essential:
- Self-Cleaning Function: Press the 'TIMER/CLEAN' button to activate the automatic cleaning cycle. Follow the instructions in the display if prompted.
- Manual Cleaning:
- Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
- Drain any remaining water from the reservoir.
- Clean the interior with a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly.
- Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth.
- Ensure all parts are dry before re-plugging the unit.
5.2 Storage

- Perform a thorough cleaning as described above.
