The WT-A32 supports various playback modes based on the trigger lines:

  • High/Low Level Trigger Single Play: Each of the five trigger lines can be configured to play a specific sound when activated by a high or low electrical signal.
  • Low-Level Trigger Loop Playback: Certain trigger lines can be set to continuously loop a sound when activated by a low-level signal.
  • Power-on Loop Sound Mode: The device can be configured to play a default sound in a loop immediately upon receiving power.
  • 4 Modes of Combination Switch Adjustment: Utilize the internal DIP switches to select different operational modes or sound sequences.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the siren horn. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Water Exposure: While the product has an IPX5 protection level, the internal components of the speaker are not fully waterproof. Avoid direct exposure to heavy rain or submerging the device in water. Ensure the bell mouth is securely fastened after any internal access.
  • Environmental Conditions: Operate the device within the specified working temperature range of -20℃ to 55℃.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound Output:
    • Check power connections: Ensure the red and black wires are correctly connected to a DC 10-28V power source.
    • Verify trigger signals: Confirm that the trigger lines are receiving the correct high or low signals from your control system.
    • Check volume settings: Ensure the volume is not set to minimum.
    • Inspect internal connections: If recently accessed, ensure all internal wires and the speaker connection are secure.
  • Incorrect Sound Playback:
    • Review trigger line connections: Ensure the correct trigger line is activated for the desired sound.
    • Verify MP3 format: Custom voices must be in MP3 format (16Kbps~320Kbps). Incorrect formats may lead to no sound or corrupted playback.
    • Check DIP switch settings: Ensure the combination DIP switches are set for the desired playback mode.
  • Device Not Recognized by Computer (for voice replacement):
    • Ensure the Micro USB cable is properly connected to both the device and the computer.
    • Try a different USB port or cable.
    • Ensure the device is powered on when connecting to the computer.
  • Power Supply Voltage: The power supply voltage must not exceed 28V. Exceeding this limit can cause abnormal operation or permanent damage to the device.

7. User Tips

  • Customization: Take advantage of the USB voice replacement feature to tailor warning messages or alerts to your specific needs. This is particularly useful for industrial applications where specific instructions or safety warnings are required.
  • Volume Control: Experiment with the 6-level volume adjustment to find the optimal sound level for your environment, ensuring it's loud enough to be effective without causing discomfort.
  • Trigger Flexibility: Utilize the 5-way trigger lines to implement complex warning sequences or to differentiate between various alarm conditions.
  • Installation Location: For outdoor use, consider placing the siren horn under a protective cover or in a location shielded from direct heavy rainfall to prolong its lifespan, despite its IPX5 rating.
