5. Setup and Initial Assembly

Your iScooter W9 comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup.

  1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
  2. Release the folding mechanism latch (refer to Figure 4.1).
  3. Lift the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position.
  4. Secure the height adjustment clamp.
  5. Attach the handlebars if they are separate, ensuring they are firmly in place.
  6. Check all connections and ensure the scooter is stable before riding.

5.2 Initial Charge

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. Refer to the 'Charging' section for detailed instructions.

5.3 App Connection (Voltix)

The iScooter W9 is compatible with the Voltix application. Download the app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your scooter via Bluetooth. The app allows you to monitor speed, battery level, trip distance, and potentially adjust settings.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Display Functions

  1. Riding Mode: Indicates the current speed mode (ECO, D, S).
  2. MAX: Maximum Speed / AVG: Average Speed / ERROR: Displays maximum or average speed, or an error message.
  3. Engine Overheating Alarm: Alerts if the motor temperature is too high.
  4. Turn Signals: Indicates active turn signal.
  5. Headlight: Indicates if the headlight is on.
  6. Cruise Control: Indicates if cruise control is active.
  7. Ready to Go: Status indicator.
  8. Connected App: Shows if the scooter is connected to the mobile app.
  9. Battery Level: Displays remaining battery charge.
  10. Trip Distance: Shows distance traveled in the current trip.
  11. Real-time Speed: Current riding speed.
  12. Total Distance: Total distance accumulated.

6.2 Driving Modes

The iScooter W9 offers four speed modes to adapt to different driving environments. Simply press the switch briefly at different times during startup to cycle through modes.

7. Charging the Battery

The iScooter W9 is powered by a 48V 14Ah battery. Ensure proper charging procedures are followed to maintain battery health and safety.

Charging Procedure:

  1. Ensure the scooter is turned off.

  6. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the scooter and then from the wall outlet.

Warning: Use only the original charger provided with your iScooter W9. Do not charge unattended. Do not charge near flammable materials. Store the scooter and charger in a dry, cool place.

8. Folding and Storage

The iScooter W9 features an easy-to-use folding mechanism for convenient storage and transport.

Folding Procedure:

  1. Ensure the scooter is turned off.
  2. Release the height adjustment clamp and lower the handlebars.
  3. Engage the folding mechanism latch (refer to Figure 4.1).
  4. Carefully fold the handlebar stem down towards the deck until it locks into place.
