4. Setup Instructions

  1. Connect Power: Plug the provided power cable into the IPS3608 unit and then into a suitable AC power outlet (100-240VAC, 50/60Hz).
  2. Power On: Flip the power switch located on the rear panel of the unit to the 'ON' position.
  3. Select Language: Upon first boot-up, the device will prompt you to select a language. Use the rotary knob to navigate and select 'EN' for English, then press the knob to confirm.
  4. Initial Check: The device will display the main overview interface. Ensure all readings are initially at 0.00V and 0.000A.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Interface Navigation

The IPS3608 features a 2.8-inch color screen with three main display interfaces:

  • Overview Interface: Displays real-time voltage, current, power, capacity, energy, and temperature. Allows for direct adjustment of voltage and current.
  • V/I Graph Interface: Provides a graphical representation of voltage and current curves over time, useful for monitoring output trends.
  • A/C Output Page: Dedicated displays for Fast Charge A (USB-A) and Fast Charge C (USB-C) outputs, showing their respective voltage, current, and charge data.

5.2 Adjusting Output Parameters

  1. Voltage Adjustment: On the Overview Interface, use the rotary knob to adjust the output voltage. The voltage can be set from 0.01V up to 36.00V.
  2. Current Adjustment: Similarly, use the rotary knob to adjust the output current. The current can be set from 0.001A up to 8.200A.
  3. Precision: The device offers high precision with 0.01V voltage resolution and 0.001A current resolution.

5.3 Starting and Stopping Output

Press the RUN/STOP button located on the front panel to toggle the output. A green light indicates active output, while a red light indicates the output is stopped.

5.4 Preset Data Groups

The device allows you to save and recall up to six preset data groups (M1-M6). These can be accessed and customized via the 'DataSet' menu in the settings. This feature is useful for quickly switching between frequently used voltage and current configurations.

5.5 System Settings

Navigate to the 'System' menu to configure various device settings:

  • Language Setup: Change the device language (Chinese/English).
  • Brightness Control: Adjust screen brightness.
  • Volume Control: Adjust device sound volume.
  • Style Switch: Change the UI theme (e.g., Dark/Light).
  • Metering Switch: Enable or disable metering functions.
  • Device Address: Set the device address for communication.

5.6 Fast Charging Functionality

The integrated USB-A and USB-C ports provide fast charging capabilities for compatible devices. Simply connect your device to the appropriate USB port. The A/C Output Page will display the charging status.

  • Short Circuit Protection (SCP): Automatically cuts off output in case of a short circuit.
