3. Setup Instructions

  1. **Charge the Devices:** Before first use, fully charge both the transmitter and receiver using the provided charging cable. Connect the cable to the charging ports (6 and 13) and a standard USB power source. The display light (3 and 10) will indicate charging status.
  2. **Attach the Transmitter:** Gently open the retaining clip (2) and securely attach the microphone (1) to the bell or mouth of your instrument. Ensure the soft silicone material protects the instrument's surface. Position the microphone for optimal sound capture.
  3. **Connect the Receiver:** Plug the 6.35mm jack (9) of the receiver into the input port of your audio equipment (e.g., amplifier, mixer, loudspeaker, computer audio interface).
  4. **Power On:** Press and hold the Power button (4 on transmitter, 11 on receiver) on both the transmitter and receiver until their respective display lights (3 and 10) illuminate.
  5. **Automatic Pairing:** The system features UHF automatic frequency pairing. The transmitter and receiver should automatically connect. If they do not connect, or if you experience interference, you may need to manually change the frequency using the frequency lock/change button (5) on the transmitter.
  6. **Test Connection:** Speak or play into the microphone to test the audio output from your connected audio equipment. Adjust volume levels on your audio equipment as needed.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. **Power On/Off:** Press and hold the Power button on both the transmitter and receiver to turn them on or off.
  2. **Frequency Adjustment:** If you encounter interference or need to use multiple systems simultaneously, briefly press the Frequency lock/change button (5) on the transmitter to cycle through the available 16 frequency points. The system will automatically re-pair.
  3. **Performance:** Once connected, the system is ready for use. Position the microphone appropriately on your instrument for the best sound quality.
  4. **Monitoring Battery Life:** Observe the display lights on both units. A change in color or flashing pattern may indicate low battery.
  5. **Operating Range:** Maintain a distance within 20 meters (65 feet) between the transmitter and receiver for optimal and stable signal transmission. Obstacles like walls or large metal objects can reduce the effective range.

5. Maintenance

  • **Charging:** Recharge the devices when the battery is low. A full charge takes approximately 1-2 hours and provides 4-6 hours of use. Avoid overcharging for extended periods.
  • **Cleaning:** Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the microphone and receiver. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • **Storage:** When not in use, store the microphone system in its original package or a protective case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • **Battery Care:** To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing for a long time, charge the battery to about 50% every few months.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No sound output
  • Transmitter/Receiver not powered on.
  • Low battery.
  • Receiver not properly connected to audio equipment.
  • Volume on audio equipment is too low.
  • No signal connection between transmitter and receiver.
  • Ensure both units are powered on.
  • Charge both units fully.
  • Check the 6.35mm plug connection to your audio equipment.
  • Increase the volume on your amplifier/mixer.
  • Power cycle both units to re-establish connection. Try changing frequency.
Interference or poor signal quality
  • Operating beyond the effective range.
  • Obstacles blocking the signal.
  • Other wireless devices operating on similar frequencies.
  • Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver.
  • Ensure a clear line of sight between units.
  • Briefly press the Frequency lock/change button (5) on the transmitter to switch to a different frequency.
Short battery life
  • Battery not fully charged.
  • Aging battery.
  • Ensure a full 1-2 hour charge.
