5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V/500mA USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged (approximately 2-3 hours), the indicator light may change or turn off.
5.2 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the power button (Power icon) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED lights illuminate.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button (Power icon) again for a few seconds until the speaker powers down.
5.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED). If not, press the 'M' (Mode) button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "TG 288" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the blue LED will stop flashing.
5.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing
To pair two TG288 speakers for stereo sound:
- Ensure both TG288 speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet connected to any device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the 'M' (Mode) button. You will hear a prompt indicating TWS pairing mode.
- The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.
5.5 Other Playback Modes
- Micro SD/TF Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB, not included) with supported music files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to card playback mode.
- U Disk: Insert a USB flash drive with supported music files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to U disk playback mode.
- AUX Input: Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the speaker's AUX port and the other end to your audio source (e.g., phone, MP3 player). The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
- FM Radio: Press the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through modes until you reach FM radio. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to scan for stations.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Controls
- Volume Up: Short press the '+' button.
- Volume Down: Short press the '-' button.
- Next Track: Long press the '+' button.
- Previous Track: Long press the '-' button.
- Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button (Play/Pause icon).
- Mode Switch: Short press the 'M' button to cycle between Bluetooth, TF Card, U Disk, AUX, and FM Radio modes.
6.2 Hands-free Calling
- Answer Call: When a call comes in, short press the Play/Pause button (Play/Pause icon) to answer.

- Reject Call: When a call comes in, long press the Play/Pause button (Play/Pause icon) to reject.

- No sound:
