5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Transmitter (TX) Mode

In TX mode, the adapter broadcasts audio from a connected source to other Bluetooth LE audio receivers.

1. Ensure the adapter is in TX mode.
2. Connect your audio source:
• AUX Input: Use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect your device (e.g., TV, computer) to the adapter's 3.5mm AUX input.
• MIC Input: Connect an external microphone to the MIC input for voice broadcasting.
• Bluetooth Input: Pair your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone) with the adapter.

5.2 Receiver (RX) Mode

In RX mode, the adapter receives Bluetooth LE audio broadcasts and outputs them via its 3.5mm AUX port.

1. Ensure the adapter is in RX mode.
2. Connect your listening device (e.g., headphones, speakers) to the adapter's 3.5mm AUX output using the provided 3.5mm audio cable or earphone.
3. The adapter will search for available Bluetooth LE audio broadcasts.
4. Once connected to a broadcast, audio will be routed to your listening device.

5.3 Broadcast Modes (BIS/CIS)

The BW-LE523 supports advanced Bluetooth LE audio broadcast modes for different applications:

• BIS (Broadcast Isochronous Stream): Ideal for one-to-many audio transmission, such as tour guides, silent discos, or classroom settings. One transmitter can connect to multiple receivers simultaneously.
• CIS (Connected Isochronous Stream): Used for synchronized audio streams between a limited number of devices, often for specific applications requiring tight synchronization.

5.4 Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC)

Press the 'ENC' button to activate or deactivate the Environmental Noise Cancellation feature for the microphone input. This helps reduce background noise for clearer voice transmission.

The BW-LE523 can receive audio wirelessly (Bluetooth) and output it via its wired AUX port. Ensure your computer's audio output is directed to the BW-LE523 Bluetooth device, and your earphone is properly plugged into the adapter's AUX output.
