5.1 Wiring the Receiver

• PWR: Connect your power supply (DC/AC 9-30V or AC 85-250V, depending on model) to the PWR terminals. Observe polarity if using DC.

4. In the app, tap '+' to add a device.
5. Select 'Garage Door Opener' or 'Switch (Wi-Fi)' from the device list.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 APP Remote Control

• The app allows for remote control from anywhere with an internet connection.

6.2 Voice Control (Alexa / Google Home)

• Ensure your RX-Multi receiver is successfully connected to the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app.
• Link your Smart Life/Tuya Smart account to Amazon Alexa or Google Home through their respective apps.
• Once linked, you can use voice commands such as:
  • "Alexa, open the garage door."
  • "Hey Google, close the gate."

6.3 Schedule & Countdown Function

• Within the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app, you can set up schedules for automatic opening or closing at specific times.
• Use the countdown function for temporary operations, e.g., close the garage door after 10 minutes.

6.4 Family Share Function

• The Smart Life/Tuya Smart app allows you to share control of the RX-Multi receiver with other family members.
• This enables multiple users to manage the connected devices from their own smartphones.

7. Programming Remote Controls

The RX-Multi receiver is compatible with a wide range of remote control brands and frequencies. It features 8 dip switches (labeled 1-8) to select the correct combination for your specific remote. The receiver can store up to 100 different remote codes.

7.1 Dip Switch Configuration for Remote Brands

Refer to the table below and Image 4 to configure the 8 dip switches (ON/OFF) on the RX-Multi receiver to match your remote control's brand and frequency. 'ON' typically means the switch is pushed down or towards the 'ON' label, while 'OFF' means it's up or away from 'ON'.

Note: If your remote control brand or frequency is not listed, or if you are unsure, please contact the seller for assistance with the correct dip switch combination.

7.2 Learning a Remote Control Code

1. Set the dip switches on the RX-Multi receiver according to the brand and frequency of your remote control (refer to Section 7.1).
2. Press the learning button on the RX-Multi receiver (usually S1 or S2, depending on which channel you want to program). The corresponding LED (L1 or L2) will light up or blink.
3. While the LED is active, press the button on your remote control that you wish to program.
4. The LED on the receiver should blink rapidly or change state to indicate successful learning.
5. Repeat the process for other remote control buttons or additional remotes, if desired.
6. To clear all learned codes for a channel, press and hold the learning button for that channel until the LED indicates the codes have been cleared (e.g., rapid blinking followed by off).

  • Check your internet connection.

9. User Tips

• Optimal Wi-Fi Signal: For reliable smart home control, ensure the receiver is installed in an area with a strong and stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal.
• Test Compatibility: Before final installation, test the receiver's compatibility with your remote controls and the connected device to ensure proper function.

10. Maintenance
