2. Setup Guide
2.1 Battery Installation
- Open the back cover of the ITH-13-B unit.
- Remove the insulating strip from the pre-installed AAA batteries.
- Close the back cover securely. The unit will switch on automatically.
2.2 App Download and Bluetooth Connection
- Download the INKBIRD app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Open the INKBIRD app and create an account or log in.
- Click on the "+" icon within the app to add a new device.

- Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to establish a Bluetooth connection. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and within the 70m/230ft open distance range of the sensor.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Display Information
The 2.3-inch LCD screen displays the following information:
- Current Temperature: Shown in large digits (Celsius or Fahrenheit).
- Current Humidity: Shown in large digits (%).
- MAX/MIN Values: Displays the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity recorded over the last 24 hours, 48 hours, or all time (selectable via app).
- Bluetooth Icon: Indicates active Bluetooth connection.
- Battery Indicator: Shows remaining battery life.
- Comfort Level Indicator: A facial icon (Dry, Comfort, Wet) indicating air quality.
3.2 Changing Temperature Unit
Press the button on the top of the device to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
3.3 Clearing MAX/MIN Recording
Press and hold the button on the top of the device to clear the recorded maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values.
3.4 Air Comfort Level Indicator
The device features an air comfort level indicator to help you understand indoor air quality at a glance. The default ranges are:
- Dry: Humidity < 30%
- Comfort: 30% < Humidity < 60% AND 20°C < Temperature < 26°C
- Wet: Humidity > 60%
You can customize these comfort level ranges within the INKBIRD app to suit your specific needs or the requirements of delicate objects.
3.5 Data Storage and Export
The ITH-13-B can store up to 300 days of offline data directly on the device. Once connected to the app, this data will automatically sync. The app allows you to view and export up to 2 years of historical data in graph format for further analysis.
3.6 Alarm Notifications
When connected via Bluetooth, the INKBIRD app can provide high and low temperature alarm notifications, allowing you to react promptly to significant changes in your environment.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The ITH-13-B is powered by 2 AAA batteries, providing at least 8 months of battery life. When the battery indicator on the LCD screen shows low power, replace both batteries with new ones. Ensure correct polarity during installation.
4.2 Cleaning
To clean the device, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water, as this may damage the sensors and electronics.
