2. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the package contents are present.
  2. Connect the Desoldering Gun: Plug the desoldering gun cable into the designated port on the main unit. Ensure a secure connection.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the power cord to the main unit and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the unit's requirements (120V US, 220V EU, 230V UK, or 240V AU, depending on your model).
  4. Place the Desoldering Gun: Position the desoldering gun securely in its holder.
  5. Initial Power On: Flip the power switch to the 'ON' position. The LCD display will illuminate.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Preheating

  1. Turn on the unit. The display will show the current temperature.
  2. The unit will automatically begin preheating to the set temperature. The 'Pht' indicator will be visible during this phase.
  3. Once the set temperature is reached, the unit will emit 5 beeps, indicating preheating is complete and the nozzles are ready for use.

  1. Place the desoldering gun nozzle over the solder joint you wish to remove.
  2. Allow the nozzle to heat the solder until it melts.
  3. Press the suction button on the desoldering gun to activate the vacuum, removing the molten solder.
  4. Lift the component once the solder is removed.

  • Empty Flux Collection/Tin Storage: Periodically empty the flux collection and tin storage compartment to maintain optimal suction and prevent clogging.
  • Clean the Cleaning Sponge: Keep the cleaning sponge damp and clean for effective tip wiping.

4.2 Temperature Calibration

Temperature calibration is required when you replace accessories such as the heating element or desoldering gun, or if you suspect temperature inaccuracies.

  1. After the unit reaches the set temperature, long-press the "+" or "-" button to enter calibration mode.
  2. Use an external thermometer to measure the current actual temperature of the desoldering gun tip.
