The TOWILD CL600S Bike Light is a high-performance, USB rechargeable LED bicycle headlight designed to enhance your cycling safety and visibility. 4. Setup

The CL600S bike light offers flexible mounting options for your convenience.

4.1 Mounting the Light

The new bracket design makes installation easier. The light supports combined hoisting with a bike computer. When hoisting, ensure the cut-off line is in the correct position.

Up-Mounted Installation:

  1. Attach the handlebar mount to your bike's handlebar.
  2. Secure the mount firmly.
  3. Slide the CL600S light onto the mount from the front.
  4. Ensure the light clicks securely into place.

Under-Mounted Installation:

  1. Attach the GoPro mount adapter to your existing GoPro compatible mount.
  2. Secure the adapter firmly.
  3. Slide the CL600S light onto the adapter from the front.
  4. Ensure the light clicks securely into place.

5. Operation

Familiarize yourself with the button functions for optimal use.

  • Power On/Off: Long press the button for 0.5 seconds to turn on, and long press for 0.8 seconds to turn off.
  • Switch Modes: Single click to switch between Warning Mode and General Mode.
  • Brightness Adjustment (General Mode): Single click to switch brightness levels (5-8 files).
  • Turbo Button: Long press to activate the highest brightness; release to return to the previous mode.

6. Intelligent Features

6.1 Intelligent Temperature Control Technology

The CL600S is equipped with intelligent temperature control. When the light generates heat and the internal substrate temperature exceeds 65 degrees Celsius, the brightness mode will be automatically lowered. This protects the lamp beads and extends the service life of the device.

6.2 Intelligent Start and Stop - Energy-Saving Power Supply Management

The main light automatically turns on after being vibrated. In Intelligent Mode, the light enters standby mode when turned off. At this time, the main light is off, and the button indicator light flashes blue once every two seconds. Within one hour, the remote control can turn on the bike light. After one hour, the button indicator stops flashing, and the remote control cannot turn on the bike light; it must be turned on manually.

Intelligent Mode and Manual Mode:

When the light is turned off, long press the button for 3 seconds to switch between Intelligent Mode and Manual Mode. The main light will flash once to indicate that the switch is successful. The indicator light is blue in Intelligent Mode and green in Manual Mode.

6.3 Anti-Glare Cut-Off Safety Design & Side Light Warning

The CL600S features an independently developed clear cut-off line, adhering to the German STVZO standard, to prevent dazzling oncoming traffic. Additionally, the side lens refraction light design effectively alerts pedestrians and vehicles, enhancing overall riding safety.

7. Wireless Control (Optional)

The CL600S supports wireless remote control for convenient lighting mode changes. Note that the remote control needs to be purchased separately.

7.1 Pairing CL600S with Remote Control:

  1. Ensure the CL600S light is turned on.
  2. Press and hold the light button for 3 seconds to enter the pairing state. The main light will flash.
  3. At this point, the button indicator light is always red.
  4. Press any one of the keys on the remote control until the light on the remote turns off, indicating successful pairing.

8. Battery and Charging

The CL600S features a built-in 2600mAh battery and supports Type-C charging.

8.1 Charging Instructions

Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the light's charging port and to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter, power bank). The indicator light will show charging status.

8.2 Battery Warning Icon

In the power-off state, a single press of the button will display the battery level for 3 seconds.

Intelligent Mode (Blue Indicator):

  • 100-30%: Indicator solid blue.
  • 29-10%: Indicator flashing blue slowly.
  • Less than 10%: Indicator flashing blue and red rapidly.

Manual Mode (Green Indicator):

  • 100-30%: Indicator solid green.
  • 29-10%: Indicator flashing green slowly.
  • Less than 10%: Indicator flashing green and red rapidly.

9. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your CL600S bike light.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the light body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Waterproofing: The light is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it can withstand heavy rain or strong water splashes. However, always ensure the USB rubber plug is securely closed after charging to maintain its waterproof integrity.
  • Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Charging: Charge the battery regularly, even if not used frequently, to maintain battery health.

10. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your CL600S bike light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Secure the USB Plug: Always ensure the USB rubber plug is securely closed after charging, especially before riding in wet conditions, to maintain the IPX6 waterproof rating.
  • Optimal Mounting: Experiment with both up-mounted and under-mounted positions to find what works best with your bike computer and riding style for optimal visibility and beam cut-off.
  • Remote Control Convenience: If you frequently switch modes or brightness, consider acquiring the optional wireless remote control for easier adjustments while riding.
