4. Setup

4.1 Mounting the Device

The device offers flexible installation with two types of brackets: an air vent magnetic mount and a dashboard suction cup mount. Choose the most suitable option for your vehicle to ensure a clear view and stable placement.

  1. Attach the chosen bracket to the back of the car stereo screen. The device features a strong magnetic force for secure attachment.
  2. For the air vent magnetic mount, securely clip it onto an appropriate air vent.
  3. For the dashboard suction cup mount, clean the dashboard surface, press the suction cup firmly, and engage the locking mechanism.
  4. Adjust the screen angle for optimal visibility without obstructing your driving view.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided car power cable to the device and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The device is designed for plug-and-play operation.

4.3 Optional Rear Camera Installation

If your package includes the optional rear camera, connect it to the AV-IN port on the side of the device using the 6m cable. The camera is IP68 waterproof and offers a 140° wide-angle view with night vision and parking lines for real-time reversing assistance.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

The device powers on automatically when connected to the car's power supply and the ignition is turned on. To power off, simply turn off your vehicle's ignition or disconnect the power cable.

5.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Connection

To connect your smartphone wirelessly:

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. On the Vtopek screen, navigate to the CarPlay or Android Auto application.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone via Bluetooth. You may need to confirm a pairing code on both devices.
  4. Once connected, your phone's interface will be displayed on the car screen, allowing access to navigation, music, and other apps.

5.3 Screen Rotation (Vertical/Horizontal)

The device supports one-click switching between horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait) screen modes. This allows you to optimize the display for different tasks, such as navigation in portrait mode for a clearer road view or video playback in landscape mode for entertainment.

5.4 Mirror Link Function

The Mirror Link function allows you to wirelessly mirror your smartphone's screen to the Vtopek display. This is compatible with most iOS and Android phones.

  1. On the Vtopek screen, select the "Mirrorcast" or "AirPlay" option.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your phone.
  3. Once connected, your phone's display will be mirrored, allowing you to view apps, videos, and other content.

5.5 Audio Output Options

The Vtopek screen has a built-in speaker. For louder or higher quality audio, you can transmit sound to your car's audio system using one of the following methods:

  • FM Transmitter: Set the same FM frequency on the Vtopek device and your car radio.
  • AUX Cable: Connect the provided AUX cable from the device's AUX output to your car's AUX input.
  • Bluetooth: Connect your phone to the Vtopek device via Bluetooth (BT 5.0 for stable connection and high sound quality).

    • Forget the device from your phone's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.

  • Screen Not Rotating: Ensure you are using the one-click rotation feature correctly. The device will briefly restart during rotation.
  • Poor GPS Signal (via phone): Ensure your phone has a clear view of the sky and its GPS is active.
