5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surface.

5.2 Charging Best Practices

  • Do not overcharge the mouse. Disconnect the charging cable once the battery is full.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery frequently, as this can reduce its lifespan.
  • Use the provided charging cable or a compatible high-quality cable.

5.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a cool, dry place. Ensure the power is switched off to conserve battery life. The USB receiver can be stored in its dedicated compartment on the mouse bottom.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Mouse Not Responding

  • Check Power: Ensure the mouse is switched ON and has sufficient battery charge.
  • Recharge: If the battery is low, connect the mouse to a power source to charge.
  • Re-establish Connection:
    • 2.4Ghz: Unplug and re-plug the USB receiver. Ensure the mouse is in 2.4G mode.
    • Bluetooth: Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth. Re-enter pairing mode on the mouse and re-pair with your device.
  • Try a Different Port/Device: Test the mouse with a different USB port or another computer/device to rule out port or device-specific issues.

6.2 DPI Not Changing

  • Ensure you are pressing the correct DPI adjustment button.
  • Try pressing the DPI button multiple times to cycle through all settings.

6.3 Intermittent Connection

  • Distance: Ensure the mouse is within the effective transmission distance (up to 10 meters).
  • Interference: Move away from other wireless devices or sources of electromagnetic interference.
  • Battery: A low battery can sometimes cause unstable connections. Recharge the mouse.
