3. Temperature Guidelines

Operate the device within the specified working temperature range of -10°C to 65°C. For storage, ensure the temperature is between -10°C and 70°C to prolong the device's lifespan.

4. Memory Card Management

Regularly back up important video files from your TF card. It is recommended to format the memory card periodically (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Replace the memory card if it shows signs of degradation or errors.

Troubleshooting

No Power

  • Check all power connections to ensure they are secure.
  • Verify that the motorcycle's power source is active and within the DC 7-32V input range.
  • Inspect the power cable for any damage.

Screen Not Responding

  • Ensure the screen is clean and free from moisture or debris.

CarPlay/Android Auto Connectivity Issues

  • Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone.
  • Forget the device from your phone's Bluetooth/Wi-Fi settings and attempt to reconnect.
  • Restart both the device and your smartphone.
  • Check for any software updates for your phone or the device.

Recording Problems

  • Verify that a compatible TF card (C10 or U1, up to 128GB) is inserted correctly.
  • Format the TF card through the device's settings menu.
  • Check if the TF card is full; delete old files or replace the card.
  • Ensure camera connections are secure and lenses are clean.

GPS Not Tracking Accurately

  • Ensure the device has a clear line of sight to the sky for optimal satellite reception.
  • Check if the GPS function is enabled in the device settings.

User Tips

  • Secure Mounting: Always double-check the mounting bracket's tightness before each ride, especially on rough terrain, to prevent the device from dislodging due to vibrations.
  • Memory Card Maintenance: To ensure continuous and reliable video recording, make it a habit to format your TF card monthly. This helps prevent fragmentation and potential recording errors.
  • Remote Control Convenience: Familiarize yourself with the remote controller's buttons. Its quick access features for taking pictures, locking videos, and switching menus can be very useful while riding, minimizing distractions.
  • Optimal Visibility: Position the device to minimize glare and ensure the sun visor is effectively blocking direct sunlight for better screen visibility during daytime rides.
