4. Setup Guide

4.1. Charging the Watch

Before first use, fully charge the LAGENIO K5 smartwatch. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging port on the watch and plug the USB end into a compatible power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The watch display will indicate charging status.

4.2. SIM Card Installation

The LAGENIO K5 supports Nano SIM cards for 4G network connectivity, enabling calls and GPS features.

1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the watch.
2. Use the provided card picker (SIM ejector tool) to open the SIM card tray.

4.3. App Installation and Binding

1. Scan the QR code provided in the Important Notes Booklet or search for "Trackino" in your smartphone's app store.
2. Install the app and create an account.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to bind the K5 smartwatch to your account. This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on the watch or entering a unique device ID.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Navigation

The K5 smartwatch features a 1.2-inch TFT touch screen. Swipe left/right or up/down to navigate through menus and functions. Tap to select options.

5.2. Making and Receiving Calls

• 4G Video Call: The watch supports 4G video calls, allowing parents to see their child at any time for enhanced safety. Initiate video calls through the paired app.
• Nio Call: Utilize VoIP black technology for high-definition voice calls over the internet, providing clear communication regardless of location, as long as an internet connection is available.
• Voice Calls: Make and receive standard voice calls.
• Restrict Unknown Calls: Parents can set up the app to restrict calls from unknown numbers, ensuring the child only communicates with approved contacts.

5.3. GPS Tracking and Safety Alerts

The K5 watch offers accurate 5-way positioning (GPS/LBS/A-GPS/WIFI/Accelerometer) and parental app control for real-time location tracking and safety features.

• Real-time Location: View your child's current location on the map within the parent app.
• Motion Tracker: Track your child's route history and movement patterns.
• Security Guard: Set up 'Stranger Zones' in the app. If your child enters an unfamiliar area, the app will send an alarm to remind parents.
• Trajectory: Review the route history to see where your child has visited.
• SOS Emergency Call: In an emergency, the child can press and hold the SOS button on the watch to automatically dial pre-set emergency contacts.

5.4. Class Disable Mode

6.1. Waterproof Care (IP68)

6.2. Cleaning

• Check for app updates and ensure you are using the latest version.
• Restart both the watch and the smartphone.

7.5. Short Battery Life

• Review usage patterns; frequent calls, video calls, and GPS tracking consume more power.
• Adjust screen brightness to a lower setting.
• Ensure no background apps are running unnecessarily.
• Check battery health in the watch settings if available.
