2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Upon receiving your Sunkko LA-15H02, carefully unpack the machine from its professional wooden box packaging. Inspect all components for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all listed accessories are present.

4.3 Assembly and Connections

  1. Place the machine on a stable, level surface. The thickened shell provides a rigid workbench.
  2. Attach the cantilever arm and welding head securely to the main unit.
  3. Connect the power cable to a compatible AC 220V ±10% 50Hz power source.
  4. Ensure the integrated water chiller is filled with appropriate coolant and connected as per the chiller's instructions.
  5. Connect the communication lines for the control panel and any external devices.
  6. Connect the wireless mouse and keyboard for easier navigation of the intelligent operating system.

5. Operation

5.1 Power On and System Initialization

  1. Ensure all connections are secure and the chiller is operational.
  2. Turn on the main power switch of the machine.
  3. The intelligent control panel will boot up. Use the wireless mouse and keyboard to navigate the interface.

5.2 Basic Welding Process

  1. Select Welding Mode: On the intelligent control panel, choose the appropriate welding mode (spot, butt, overlap, sealing) and material settings (copper, aluminum, etc.).
  2. Adjust Parameters: Set welding parameters such as output power (1500W/2000W/3000W), welding speed (0-20000mm/s), and pulse settings via the control panel.
  3. Position Workpiece: Place the battery or material to be welded on the machine's workbench.
  4. Adjust Cantilever Arm: Utilize the three-axis linkage to precisely position the welding head over the target area. Adjust the welding height using the height limit device for optimal focus and weld quality.
  5. Wear Protective Gear: Always wear laser protective glasses before initiating welding.
  6. Initiate Welding: Use the handheld welding key switch to control the laser. Press down the welding head firmly onto the workpiece to begin the welding process.

5.3 Material Compatibility and Thickness

The LA-15H02 supports welding various materials with adjustable precision:

5.4 Marking Function

The intelligent operating system includes a marking function. Navigate to the marking interface on the control panel to create or import graphics, patterns, or text for laser marking on battery ear electrodes or battery outer box nameplates. Adjust marking parameters as needed.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Water Chiller Maintenance

The LA-15H02 is equipped with a dual temperature dual control constant temperature water tank. Regularly check the coolant level and quality. Replace the coolant according to the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure optimal cooling performance and prevent overheating of the laser source.

6.2 General Cleaning

  • Keep the machine and work area clean and free of dust and debris.
  • Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth.
