2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Physical Installation
The Yudian AI-208/207/218/2181 series thermostats are designed for simple and clear installation. Ensure the mounting panel cutout matches the dimensions of your specific model. The device is secured using spring clips made of anti-oxidation material, which helps reduce contact resistance and ensures a stable connection.

Figure 2: Available International Standard Sizes (A, B, C, D, E, F, D2 types)
Refer to the diagram above for various international standard sizes and their corresponding cutout dimensions. For example, Type A has an outer dimension of 96x96mm and a cutout of 92x92mm.
2.2 Wiring
The back panel of the product features a clear circuit diagram for easy wiring. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes.

Temperature Sensor Wiring Method (Three-wire system):

Figure 4: Three-wire Temperature Sensor Wiring Diagram
- When connecting a thermal resistor (RTD): Terminals 19 and 20 are internally shorted leads. Generally, use terminals marked with the same color.
- When connecting a thermocouple: Only terminals 18 and 19 need to be connected.
Always ensure the power supply (100-240VAC) is correctly connected to the designated terminals as indicated on the back panel.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Front Panel Introduction
The front panel of the thermostat features a high-brightness digital display and control buttons for easy operation.

Figure 5: Front Panel Layout and Controls
- PV Display (Process Value): Shows the currently measured value. Display range is typically 999-9999.
- SV Display (Set Value): Shows the set target value.
- Signal Indicator Light: Illuminates to indicate output from the corresponding terminal.
- Set Button (↵): Long press for 5 seconds to enter the parameter modification interface. Short press to confirm a selection or change.
- Shift Button (◀): Moves the cursor to the left during parameter modification.
- Up Button (▲): Increases the value during parameter modification.
- Down Button (▼): Decreases the value during parameter modification.
3.2 Basic Operation
- Power On: Connect the device to a stable power supply (100-240VAC). The display will light up.
- Viewing Current Temperature: The PV display shows the current measured temperature.
- Viewing Set Temperature: The SV display shows the current set temperature.
- Changing Set Temperature:
- Long press the Set button (↵) for approximately 5 seconds to enter the parameter modification mode.
- Use the Shift button (◀) to move the cursor to the desired digit.
- Use the Up (▲) or Down (▼) buttons to adjust the value.
- Short press the Set button (↵) to confirm the new set value and exit modification mode.
- Monitoring Output: Observe the signal indicator lights (OP1, AU1, AU2, RUN) to understand the current output status of the device.
4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Yudian thermostat, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Environment: Operate the device within its specified environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) to prevent damage.
- Connections: Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of corrosion.
- Calibration: If you suspect inaccurate readings, consult a qualified technician for calibration.
5. Troubleshooting
This section provides basic troubleshooting steps for common issues. For more complex problems, contact technical support.
- No Display: Check power connections and ensure the power supply is within the specified voltage range (100-240VAC).
- Inaccurate Readings: Verify the sensor type is correctly configured and the sensor is properly connected. Check for any physical damage to the sensor or wiring.
- No Output: Check the set value (SV) against the process value (PV) to ensure the control logic is met. Verify wiring to the output device.
- "ORAL" Display: This indicates a broken line or over-range measurement for the sensor. Check sensor wiring and ensure the sensor is within its operating range.
