Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the controller. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the controller frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in constant use.
- Joystick/Button Care: The TMR joysticks and mechanical buttons are designed for durability. Avoid excessive force or twisting.
Troubleshooting
- Controller not connecting: Ensure the platform switch on the back is set correctly. For Bluetooth, ensure the controller is in pairing mode and your device's Bluetooth is on. For 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted. For wired, check the USB-C cable connection.
- Input lag or unresponsiveness: Ensure the controller is fully charged. If using wireless, try moving closer to the device or switching to a wired connection to rule out interference.
- Joysticks drifting: The K20 TMR features Hall Effect joysticks designed to prevent drift. If drift occurs, try recalibrating the joysticks through your device's system settings (e.g., Nintendo Switch controller calibration).
- Vibration not working: Check in-game settings to ensure vibration is enabled. Ensure the controller is fully charged.
- Turbo function not activating: Refer to the specific button combinations in your quick start guide for activating and adjusting the turbo function.
User Tips
- Platform Switching: Always ensure the correct platform mode (NS, AN, IOS, PC) is selected using the switch on the back of the controller for optimal performance and compatibility.
- Trigger Sensitivity: Experiment with the Hall-Linear triggers to find your preferred sensitivity settings. Their precise nature can significantly improve control in games requiring fine input, such as racing or shooting titles.
- Custom Back Keys: Utilize the customizable M1 and M2 back keys for frequently used in-game actions or complex combos. Programming these can provide a significant advantage and enhance your gameplay efficiency.
- Turbo for Repetitive Actions: Take advantage of the turbo function for rapid inputs in games that require quick, repeated button presses, reducing finger fatigue.
