3. Setup and Installation
This induction hob is designed for built-in installation and requires hard-wiring. Professional installation is recommended.
3.1 Dimensions
Ensure adequate space and ventilation for installation. The hob dimensions are approximately 590mm (width) x 520mm (depth) x 61mm (height). The required cut-out dimensions for your countertop are 560mm (width) x 490mm (depth).
3.2 Electrical Connection
The appliance operates on a 220-240V~, 50/60Hz power supply with a total power of 7200W. It comes with a 1.2m long hard-wired cable. Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connection.

- Connect the grey wires to Neutral (N).
- Connect the red wires to Live (L).

4. Operating Instructions
The Karinear Induction Hob features a full sliding touch control for intuitive operation.
4.1 Control Panel Overview

- **ON/OFF Button:** Press to turn the hob on or off.
- **Heating Zone Selection:** Select the desired cooking zone by touching its corresponding indicator.
- **Slider Control:** Adjust power levels by sliding your finger along the control bar. For continuous adjustment, keep your finger touching the slider bar.
- **Power Levels:** The hob offers 9 power levels to suit various cooking needs, from gentle simmering to intense frying.
- **BOOST Function:** Touch the 'B' button to activate the Boost function for the selected zone. This provides higher power for 5 minutes, accelerating heating.
- **Flex Zone:** The hob features a flexible zone that can combine two heating areas into one large surface, ideal for larger or longer cookware. To activate, touch the 'Flex Zone' indicator. This zone accommodates cookware up to 15.45 inches in length and 8.26 inches in width.
- **Timer Function:** Set the cooking timer for up to 99 minutes. The selected cooking zone will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.
- **Child Lock:** Activate the child lock to prevent accidental changes to settings or turning on the hob.

5. Compatible Cookware
Induction hobs require specific types of cookware. Ensure your pots and pans are made of magnetic materials.
- **Suitable Materials:** Iron pots, stainless steel pots, cast iron pans, and alloy pots are compatible.
- **Unsuitable Materials:** Ceramic cookware, glass cookware, copper cookware, and aluminum alloy cookware are NOT compatible.
- **Test for Compatibility:** If a 'U' code appears on the display, the pot is not suitable for the induction zone.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
The glass ceramic surface of your induction hob is designed for easy cleaning and durability.
- **Daily Cleaning:** Gently wipe the surface with a damp rag and mild detergent after each use.
