1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the ATS25-X2 Full Band Radio Receiver. This device is a versatile radio featuring a 2.4-inch color touchscreen, Si4732 chip, and support for various bands including FM, AM, LW, MW, SW, Air Band, and SSB (LSB/USB). This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your radio.

2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

Please check the package for the following items:

2.2 Antenna Connection

To ensure optimal reception, connect the telescopic antenna to the radio. First, attach the BNC adapter to the 'ANT' port on the back of the receiver. Then, screw the telescopic antenna onto the BNC adapter.

2.3 Charging the Battery

The ATS25-X2 features a built-in 3.7V/2000mA lithium battery. Before first use, or when the battery indicator shows low power, charge the device using the provided USB Type-C cable. Connect the Type-C end to the 'USB charge' port on the back of the radio and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The maximum charging current is 1.5A. A red LED indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

2.4 Initial Power On

Locate the 'POWER OFF/ON' switch on the back of the unit and slide it to the 'ON' position. The 2.4-inch color touchscreen will light up, displaying the main operating interface.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

To power on the device, slide the 'POWER OFF/ON' switch to 'ON'. To power off, slide it to 'OFF'.

3.2 Touchscreen Interface

The ATS25-X2 is operated primarily via its 2.4-inch color touchscreen. Use the included stylus pen or your fingertip for navigation and selection.

3.3 Frequency Tuning

Use the large 'TUNE' rotary encoder knob on the right side of the unit to adjust the frequency. The frequency will be displayed prominently on the touchscreen. You can also use the 'STEP' button on the touchscreen to change the tuning step size for finer adjustments.

3.4 Band Selection

The radio supports multiple frequency bands. Tap the corresponding buttons on the touchscreen to select your desired band:

3.5 Mode Selection (SSB)

When in SSB mode, you can select between LSB (Lower Sideband) and USB (Upper Sideband) by tapping the respective options on the touchscreen.

3.6 Volume Control

Adjust the audio output level by tapping the 'VOL' button on the touchscreen and using the on-screen controls or the 'TUNE' knob if it's configured for volume in that context.
