This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your ZAQE M505 Pro. If you experience problems not listed here or require further assistance, please contact our customer service team.
6.1 Device Overheating
It is normal for the device to warm up during use. However, if the temperature becomes excessively high or the device behaves abnormally, please contact customer service immediately. Prolonged use in high-temperature environments or direct sunlight can hinder heat dissipation.
6.2 Memory Card Not Recognized
Ensure your memory card is formatted as FAT, FAT32, or exFAT. If the card is new or has issues, try formatting it as a "portable device" when prompted after insertion. Note that formatting will erase all data on the card.
6.3 Charging Issues (No Response or Not Reaching 100%)
First, verify if the issue is with the charging cable or the device itself. Use a standard 5V/1A or 5V/2A charger (avoiding chargers over 30W). If charging is unresponsive or doesn't reach 100%, try the following:
- Insert a pin into the reset hole (below the volume button) for 5 seconds.
- Connect the device to a computer using the provided charging cable.
- Allow it to charge for at least one hour. If it still doesn't power on, contact customer service.
6.4 Rapid Battery Drain
Close unnecessary background applications to conserve battery life. Ensure you are using the recommended 5V/1A or 5V/2A charger.
6.5 Unable to Connect to Wi-Fi
Check if the device's Wi-Fi switch is turned on. Wi-Fi stability can be affected by distance from the router or signal strength. Try connecting to a mobile phone hotspot first to rule out router issues. Remember, the player cannot connect to guest Wi-Fi networks that require a web login.
6.6 Unable to Connect to Bluetooth
Verify that the device's Bluetooth switch is on. Ensure that the connected device is not simultaneously connected to other devices. The player uses Bluetooth version 4.3; confirm your external device is compatible.
6.7 Slow Performance or Freezing
Regularly clear the player's memory and uninstall large or infrequently used applications. Avoid running multiple applications in the background simultaneously.
6.8 Device Shuts Down Continuously
Check the "Auto Shutdown" setting in the device settings and ensure it is set to "Never" if you do not want it to shut down automatically.
6.9 Cannot Access Home Screen After Reset
If you cannot access the home screen after a reset, try one of the following:
- On the initial language interface, tap the four corners in sequence: top-left, top-right, bottom-right, bottom-left.
- Alternatively, press the power button ten times in a row.
6.10 Forgot Password
If you forget your device password, contact customer service to obtain a universal unlock password. This is provided to protect user privacy and security.
