4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your EasyThreed K10 3D Printer for its first use.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging and verify against the "Package Contents" list.
- Assemble the Frame:
- Attach the X Z Axis assembly to the base.
- Secure the Y Axis and Platform assembly.
- Install the Z Axis Support.
- Use the provided screwdriver to tighten any loose screws.
- Connect Control Box and Print Head: Connect the control box and print head assembly to the main frame, ensuring all cables are securely attached. Refer to the included specification manual for detailed connection diagrams.
- Install Filament Holder: Mount the filament holder onto the designated slot on the printer.
- Connect Power Adapter:
Important: The EasyThreed K10 does NOT come with a power adapter. You must use a compatible power adapter with the following specifications:
- Voltage: 12V
- Current: ≥ 2A
- Port Type: Type C
Connect the compatible power adapter to the printer's power input port.

- Load Filament:
- Place the PLA or TPU filament spool onto the filament holder.
- Gently feed the filament into the extruder's input hole until it is gripped by the motor.
- On the printer's control panel, select the "Load Filament" option (if available) or manually push the filament until it extrudes from the nozzle.
5. Operation Guide
Operating the EasyThreed K10 is designed to be straightforward, especially with its one-key printing feature.
- Prepare Your 3D Model:
- Obtain a 3D model file (.stl or .obj format).
- Use a slicing software such as Easyware K9, CURA, or Simplify3D to convert your 3D model into a .gcode file. This process involves setting print parameters like layer height, infill, and print speed.
- Transfer G-code to TF Card:
- Insert the provided TF card into the card reader.
- Connect the card reader to your computer.
- Copy the generated .gcode file onto the TF card.
- Safely eject the TF card from your computer.
- Insert TF Card into Printer: Insert the TF card into the designated slot on the EasyThreed K10 printer.
- Start Printing:
- Ensure the print platform is clean and level (if applicable, though K10 has a removable platform).
- On the printer's control panel, select the desired .gcode file from the TF card.
- Press the "One-Key Print" button or equivalent command to begin printing. The printer will automatically heat up the extruder and start the printing process.
- Monitor Printing: Keep an eye on the printing process, especially during the first few layers, to ensure proper adhesion and extrusion.
- Remove Print: Once printing is complete and the extruder has cooled down, carefully remove the printed object from the removable print platform.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your 3D printer.
- Clean the Print Platform: After each print, clean the removable print platform to ensure good adhesion for subsequent prints. Use a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol if necessary.
- Clean the Nozzle: Periodically check the nozzle for any filament residue or clogs. A small brush or needle can be used to gently clear the nozzle when it's heated.
- Inspect Filament Path: Ensure the filament path from the spool to the extruder is clear and free of obstructions.
- Check Belts and Screws: Occasionally inspect the belts for proper tension and all screws for tightness. Use the provided screwdriver for adjustments.
- Keep Printer Clean: Dust and debris can affect printer performance. Use a soft brush or compressed air to keep the printer clean.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your EasyThreed K10 3D Printer.
- Printer not turning on:
- Ensure the power adapter meets the specified requirements (12V, ≥2A, Type C port) and is securely connected to both the printer and a working power outlet.
- Filament not extruding:
- Check if the filament is properly loaded and feeding into the extruder.
- Verify that the extruder temperature is set correctly for the filament type (e.g., 180-230℃ for PLA/TPU).
- Inspect the nozzle for clogs. If clogged, gently clear it with a small needle or by extruding filament manually at printing temperature.
- Print not sticking to the platform:
- Ensure the print platform is clean and free of dust or grease.
- Check the first layer height in your slicing software; it might be too high.
- Consider using an adhesive (like a glue stick) on the print platform for better adhesion, especially for larger prints.
- Poor print quality (e.g., stringing, gaps):
- Review your slicing software settings (e.g., retraction, print speed, temperature).
- Ensure the filament is dry and not degraded by moisture.
- Check for any loose components or vibrations in the printer.
8. User Tips
Here are some helpful tips to enhance your 3D printing experience with the EasyThreed K10:
- Start Simple: As a beginner-friendly printer, start with small, simple models to get accustomed to the process before attempting more complex designs.
- Slicer Settings are Key: Experiment with different settings in your slicing software (Easyware, CURA, Simplify3D) to find the optimal balance for speed and quality for various models and filament types.
- Proper Filament Storage: Store your filament in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture absorption, which can lead to poor print quality.
- Keep it Clean: A clean printer is a happy printer. Regularly clean the print bed and nozzle to prevent issues.
- Community Resources: Explore online 3D printing communities and forums for tips, tricks, and solutions to common problems.
