Operating Instructions
1. Normal Data Transfer
Once the drives are installed and the docking station is connected to your computer, the drives should be recognized by your operating system. You can then access them like any other external storage device for efficient file backup and data transfer.
- The docking station supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) transfer speeds, enabling fast reading and writing.
- It is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- The device can also be connected to smart TVs, smart routers, and gaming consoles like PS4 for media playback or storage expansion.

2. Offline Clone Function
The docking station features an offline clone function, allowing you to duplicate hard drives without needing a computer connection. This is ideal for high-efficient data backup.
- Ensure the docking station is powered on but NOT connected to any computer or host device.
- Insert the Source Disk (the disk you want to copy FROM) into the designated Source Disk bay (usually the first bay, labeled 'B' in diagrams).
- Insert one or more Target Disks (the disks you want to copy TO) into the remaining bays (labeled 'A' in diagrams).
- Important: The capacity of each Target Disk must be equal to or larger than the Source Disk.
- Locate the "START CLONE PC" switch/button on the device. Switch it to "CLONE" mode.
- Long press the START button to initiate the cloning process.
- Indicator lights will show the cloning progress (e.g., 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%).
- Once all lights are solid, the cloning process is complete.
- Power off the device before removing the drives.
Note: Ensure the disks are inserted correctly and not upside down. Refer to the diagram for proper orientation.

Troubleshooting
- Drive Not Recognized:
- Ensure the drive is properly seated in the bay.
- Verify the data cable is securely connected to both the docking station and your computer.
- Check if the power adapter is connected and the device is powered on.
- Confirm the drive is a SATA HDD/SSD and not an incompatible IDE drive.
- For new drives, they may need to be initialized and formatted in Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS) before use.
- Offline Clone Fails or Does Not Start:
- Ensure the docking station is NOT connected to a computer during the clone process.
- Verify that the Source Disk is in the correct bay and the Target Disk(s) are in the other bays.
- Double-check that the capacity of each Target Disk is equal to or larger than the Source Disk.
- Make sure the "START CLONE PC" switch is set to "CLONE" mode before pressing the START button.
- Long press the START button until the indicator lights begin to flash.
- Slow Transfer Speeds:
- Ensure you are using a USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 port on your computer. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port will result in slower speeds.
- Verify that your operating system and drivers support UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) for optimal performance.
- The maximum transfer speed for SATA drives is 6Gbps, even if the controller supports 10Gbps.
- Device Overheating:
- Ensure the docking station is placed in a well-ventilated area.
- Avoid blocking the ventilation holes on the device.
- The aluminum alloy design is intended for efficient heat dissipation, but extreme conditions can still cause overheating.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the docking station. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the docking station in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Drive Handling: Always handle hard drives with care. Avoid static electricity by grounding yourself before inserting or removing drives.
User Tips
- For optimal performance, ensure your computer's USB drivers are up to date.
- When performing offline cloning, it's good practice to use new or freshly formatted target drives to avoid any data conflicts.
- Always safely eject or unmount drives from your operating system before physically removing them from the docking station to prevent data corruption.
- The auto-sleep function helps conserve power and extend drive lifespan when the device is idle.
