Safety Information
- Ensure the power supply voltage matches the specified working voltage (DC 5V-30V).
- Do not exceed the maximum load current of 30A. Overloading can damage the device and pose a fire hazard.
- Always disconnect power before performing any wiring or maintenance.
- This device is intended for low-voltage DC applications. Do not connect to AC power unless explicitly stated for a specific component.
- Keep the device away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
- Installation should be performed by individuals familiar with electrical wiring and safety procedures.
Setup and Wiring
The receiver module has input terminals for power and output terminals for connecting to your DC motor or other load. Ensure correct polarity when connecting power.
- Power Input: Connect your DC 5V-30V power supply to the 'input' terminals. Ensure the positive (+) of the power supply connects to the '+' terminal on the receiver, and the negative (-) connects to the '-' terminal.
- Load Output: Connect your DC motor, water pump, or light switch to the 'output' terminals. The motor's positive lead connects to 'M+' and the negative lead to 'M-'. This configuration allows for forward and reverse control of a DC motor.
- Secure Connections: Ensure all wire connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent short circuits.
Operating Instructions
The receiver supports three main working modes: Jogging, Self-locking, and Interlock. You can also clear all paired remote controls.
1. Learning Method (Pairing Remote Control)
To pair a remote control with the receiver:
- Press the learning button on the receiver module the required number of times for your desired mode (see below). The blue indicator light will illuminate.
- Press the corresponding button(s) on your remote control as specified for each mode.
- The blue indicator light on the receiver will flash twice and then turn off, indicating a successful match.
2. Working Modes
a. Jogging Function:
- Operation: Press and hold button A on the remote control, the motor rotates forward. Release button A to stop. Press and hold button B on the remote control, the motor rotates backward. Release button B to stop.
- Matching Method: Press the learning button on the receiver once. The blue indicator light will remain on. Press button A on the remote control, the blue indicator light on the receiver will flash twice and remain on. Then press button B on the remote control, and the receiver indicator light will flash twice and turn off.
b. Self-locking Function:
- Operation: Press button A on the remote control to rotate the motor forward. Press button A again to stop. Press button B on the remote control to rotate the motor in reverse. Press button B again to stop.
- Matching Method: Press the learning button on the receiver twice. The blue indicator light flashes once and stays on. Press button A on the remote control, the blue light on the receiver flashes twice and stays on. Press button B on the remote control again, and the blue light on the receiver flashes twice and goes off.
c. Interlock Function:
- Operation: Press button A on the remote control to rotate the motor forward. Press button B on the remote control to rotate the motor backward. Press button C on the remote control to stop the motor. (Note: This mode typically requires a 3-button remote or specific button assignments).
- Matching Method: Press the learning button on the receiver 3 times. The blue indicator light flashes twice and stays on. Press remote control button A, the blue indicator light on the receiver flashes twice and stays on. Then press button B on the remote control, and the blue indicator light on the receiver flashes twice and stays on. Finally, press button C on the remote control, and the blue indicator light on the receiver flashes twice and goes out.
3. Clear Code Reset Function
To clear all paired remote controls from the receiver's memory:
- Press the learning button on the receiving module 8 times. The blue indicator light of the receiver will flash 5 times and then go out, indicating successful code clearing.
Attention: After a remote control is equipped with an '18 key' (referring to a specific type of remote or function), the receiver may stop matching various modes. You will need to clear the code again to restore normal matching functionality.
Maintenance
- Keep the receiver module and remote controls clean and dry.
- Avoid exposing the devices to direct sunlight, high humidity, or corrosive environments.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the devices yourself, as this may void any potential warranty and could lead to damage or injury.
- Replace remote control batteries as needed.
Troubleshooting
- Remote control not responding:
- Check if the remote control battery is dead and replace if necessary.
- Ensure the remote control is within the effective range (up to 60M in open space).
- Re-pair the remote control with the receiver following the 'Learning Method' instructions.
- Motor/Load not responding:
- Verify that the power supply is connected correctly and providing the specified voltage (DC 5V-30V).
- Check all wiring connections for looseness or incorrect polarity.
- Ensure the load (motor, etc.) is not exceeding the 30A maximum current.
- Confirm the receiver's working mode is correctly set (Jogging, Self-locking, or Interlock).
- Interference:
- While designed for anti-interference, strong local RF signals might affect performance. Try relocating the receiver or reducing sources of interference.
User Tips
- Understanding Load Ratings: The product specifies a maximum load of 30A and a load power of 30W (e.g., 1A/30VDC). It's important to note that 30A is the maximum current the relay can handle, while 30W refers to the maximum power for a specific voltage (e.g., 1 Ampere at 30 Volts DC equals 30 Watts). Always ensure your connected load's current draw does not exceed 30A, and its power consumption is within safe limits for your operating voltage.
- Signal Penetration: The 433MHz signal is capable of penetrating walls, offering good flexibility for installation within a building. However, dense materials or multiple obstructions can reduce the effective control distance.
- Versatile Applications: This module is highly versatile. Beyond motors, consider it for controlling other DC-powered devices like LED strips, solenoid valves, or small pumps, provided their current and voltage requirements are within the module's specifications.
