The VILCORN Y02 Arcade Joystick is a versatile gaming controller designed to enhance your arcade gaming experience across multiple platforms. It features a large rocker, 8 professional combat buttons, TURBO function for continuous attacks, and macro programming for complex combos. It also includes a phone holder for mobile gaming.
2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the arcade joystick and its accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components are present:
- 1 x Arcade stick
- 1 x Mobile Phone Holder
- 1 x Instruction Manual
2.2 Attaching the Phone Holder
The Y02 Arcade Joystick comes with a stretchable bracket for gripping mobile phones. Attach the phone holder to the designated slot on the joystick for mobile gaming.
2.3 Charging the Device
The controller supports a maximum of 5V2A chargers. Use a standard charger to power the device. Do not use a fast charger as it may trigger a protective device and prevent proper charging.
2.4 Connection Methods
The Y02 Arcade Joystick supports multiple platforms via USB cable or wireless (Bluetooth/2.4G wireless, depending on the model and platform).
For PS3/PS4 model:
- Connect the gamepad directly to the PS3/PS4 host with the TYPE-C USB data cable.
- Press the "HOME" key to pair.
- After the pairing is successful, the "indicator 1" will stay on for a long time.
- It has been successfully connected. You can press the HOME key directly, and the LED will flash slowly and automatically connect back.
For Switch model:
- On the Switch, select Controllers -> Change grip order.
- Enter the Switch host pairing mode interface.
- Press L+R on the controller.
- At the same time, press the "R2+HOME" key for 3 seconds to enter the SWITCH mode pairing.
- The LED light will flash. If the pairing is successful, the "indicator 4" will be on for a long time.
- It has been successfully connected. You can press the HOME key directly, and the LED will flash slowly and automatically connect back.
For Android ShootingPlusV3 model:
- Harmony system is the same as Android ShootingPlus V3 mode.
- At the same time, press the "A+HOME" key for 2 seconds to enter the V3 Android mode.
- The rocker lamp will flash.
- When the Android phone searches for the "BSP-Y01" device name, select Connect.
- After the connection is successful, the rocker "indicator k4" will be on for a long time.
- You have successfully connected. You can press the HOME key directly, and the light will flash slowly and automatically connect back.
For iOS ShootingPlusV3 model:
- At the same time, press the "Y+HOME" key for 2 seconds to enter the V3 iOS mode.
- The turntable lamp will flash quickly.
- When Apple searches for the "BSP-Y01" device name, select Connect.
- After the connection is successful, the rocker "indicator" will be on for a long time.
- You have successfully connected. You can press HOME directly, and the light will flash slowly and automatically connect back.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Controls
The Y02 Arcade Joystick features a large, sensitive rocker and 8 professional combat buttons for precise operation.
3.2 Switching Rocker Mode
You can switch between joystick mode and cross button mode to adapt to different game types.
- To enter joystick mode, click the Select and Turbo buttons at the same time. The rocker's joystick switches to the cross button.
- To restore to the original mode, click Select and Turbo again.
3.3 TURBO Function (Continuous Attacks)
The TURBO function allows for continuous firing or repeated button presses with a single hold.
- Press the desired action button (e.g., "A") and then press the "TURBO" button to activate continuous firing for that button.
- Repeat this operation for the second time, and the "A" key will automatically fire again.
- Repeat for the third time to activate the "A" key.
3.4 Macro Programming
Macro programming allows you to record a sequence of button presses to execute complex combos with a single button press.

5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Joystick Not Charging
If your joystick is not charging:
- Ensure you are using a standard 5V2A charger. Fast chargers may trigger a protective device and prevent charging.
- Check the charging cable and port for any damage or debris.
- Try using a different compatible charging cable and power adapter.
5.2 Joystick Drifting or Uncontrolled Movement
If the joystick is not controlled and always points in one direction after connection:
- This can happen if the joystick is touched during the connection process, as the device has an automatic reset function.
- To resolve this, simply turn off the joystick and restart it. Ensure you do not touch the joystick while it is connecting.
5.3 Firmware Upgrade
To upgrade the controller firmware:
- Download the "ShootingPlus V3" application on your mobile phone.
- Open the app and navigate to the Settings menu.
- Click on "Firmware Upgrade" and follow the on-screen instructions.

Please note that this joystick does NOT support playing PS5 games directly. It only supports connecting to a PS5 console to play PS4 games.
