The device supports one-way talk, meaning you can listen to what a visitor says through the app. For privacy and security, the visitor cannot hear your voice.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and outer casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Power Supply: Always use a 5V/1A power adapter. Using a fast charging head may damage the device.
- Storage Card: If using a TF card, ensure it is formatted to FAT and has a C10 transmission rate for reliable recording.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on:
- Ensure the Micro USB cable is securely connected to both the device and a compatible 5V/1A power adapter. Avoid using fast charging adapters.
- Cannot connect to WiFi:
- Check that your WiFi network is 2.4G or 5G. Ensure the device is within range of your router. Try resetting the device using the reset button (refer to Figure 3 for location) and re-attempting the connection process in the app.
- Blue light status:
- If the blue light flashes slowly, the device is in the distribution network state, ready for WiFi connection.
- If the blue light is always on, WiFi is successfully connected.
- Poor image quality or distorted view:
- Ensure the camera lens is clean. While the 170° wide-angle lens provides a broad view, a slight distortion at the edges is normal.
- Motion detection not working or too sensitive:
- Adjust the alarm sensitivity settings (Low, Medium, High) within the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app to optimize detection for your environment.
- No recording to TF card:
- Ensure the TF card is correctly inserted, formatted to FAT, and has a C10 transmission rate. Check app settings to confirm recording is enabled.
9. User Tips
- For optimal performance and to prevent damage, always use a standard 5V/1A power adapter. Fast charging adapters are not compatible and may burn out the device.
- When using a storage card, ensure it is formatted to FAT and has a C10 transmission rate for reliable video recording.
- Regularly check the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app for firmware updates to keep your device secure and functioning optimally.
- Experiment with the motion detection sensitivity settings in the app to find the best balance for your environment, reducing unnecessary alerts while ensuring important events are captured.
