Maintenance

1. Protecting the Ink Cartridge Nozzle

Proper care of the ink cartridge nozzle is crucial for optimal print quality and longevity:

  • When not using ink cartridges, always close the protective cover promptly.
  • Before use, dip a soft paper towel with a small amount of alcohol and gently wipe the nozzle in one direction.

2. Cleaning for Print Quality

If print quality degrades (e.g., unclear prints or wire drawing), follow these steps:

  • Check if the ink cartridge nozzle is clean and dry. Wipe it carefully with a clean, soft tissue.
  • If the ink cartridge is quick-drying and shows wire drawing, wipe the nozzle carefully with a clean soft tissue and switch the nozzle of the printer in the settings.
  • With the printer off, remove the ink cartridge, shake it several times, and then stick a clean tissue on the surface of the nozzle to divert the ink.
  • Switch the nozzle of the printer in the settings menu.

3. Battery Storage

If the printer is stored for an extended period, it is recommended to safely charge and discharge the battery every three months to maintain its health.

Troubleshooting

1. Printer Not Printing

If your printer is not producing any output, check the following:

  • Verify that the rubber ring on the left side of the printer is correctly seated in its groove.
  • Ensure the ink cartridge is installed properly and securely.
  • Try switching the nozzle of the printer in the settings menu.
  • Turn off the printer, then reinstall the ink cartridge.
  • If the issue persists after these steps, contact customer service.

2. Unclear Print Effect

If the print quality is poor or unclear:

  • Check if the ink cartridge nozzle is clean and dry. Gently wipe the nozzle with a clean, soft tissue.
  • With the printer off, remove the ink cartridge, shake it several times, and then stick a clean tissue on the surface of the nozzle to divert the ink.
  • Switch the nozzle of the printer in the settings menu.
  • If the problem continues, contact customer service.

3. Wire Drawing Phenomenon

If you observe 'wire drawing' in your prints (streaks or lines):

  • This can occur with quick-drying ink cartridges. Carefully wipe the nozzle with a clean, soft tissue.
  • Switch the nozzle of the printer in the settings.
  • Ensure the ink cartridge cover is installed when not in use to prevent drying.

4. Printer Screen Not Working

If the printer's screen is unresponsive, try calibrating the screen through the printer's settings menu.

User Tips

  • Always turn off the printer before installing or removing ink cartridges to prevent damage and extend printer life.
  • Regularly clean the ink cartridge nozzle with alcohol and a soft paper towel to maintain print quality.
  • If printing on bottles or other curved surfaces, utilize the provided positioning plate for better accuracy and stability.
  • Consider the print head option (12.7mm or 25.4mm) based on your specific printing needs, as they are not cross-compatible.
  • For automated production lines, the printer can be equipped with photoelectric sensors for automatic printing.
