3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present and undamaged.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the kettle body, lid, and tea filter with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the heating base with a damp cloth. Do NOT immerse the heating base in water.
  3. Placement: Place the heating base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the countertop and out of reach of children.
  4. Power Connection: Ensure the kettle is correctly placed on the heating base and the power cord is plugged into a suitable 220V/50HZ power outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Filling the Kettle

  1. Remove the kettle from its base.
  2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water or ingredients. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (1.5L) or go below the minimum fill line (0.5L).
  3. If brewing tea or infusing ingredients, place them into the 304 stainless steel tea filter and insert the filter into the kettle.
  4. Close the lid securely and place the kettle back onto the heating base.

4.2 Using the Control Knob and Function Menus

The kettle features an intuitive knob control with a digital display for easy operation.

  1. Power On/Off: Press the power button on the knob to turn the kettle on or off.
  2. Select Function: Rotate the knob to cycle through the available function menus. The digital display will show the selected function.
  3. Confirm Selection: Press the knob to confirm your desired function.
  4. Adjust Temperature (for applicable functions): For functions like "Boiling water" or "Optional," you can rotate the knob to select a specific temperature (45℃, 55℃, 85℃, 100℃). Press the knob to confirm.
  5. Start Operation: Once the function and temperature (if applicable) are set, the kettle will begin its operation.

4.3 Temperature Adjustment and Heat Preservation

  • The kettle offers four temperature settings for boiling water: 45℃, 55℃, 85℃, and 100℃.
  • For "Scented tea," "Dessert," and "Health preserving" functions, the time and temperature are preset and not adjustable.
  • The heat preservation program can be customized for time and temperature. The default heat preservation is 4 hours, and it can be adjusted up to 12 hours.
  • To re-select or cancel the current program, long press the function key to exit.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Kettle Body and Lid: Wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  3. Tea Filter: Remove the tea filter and rinse it under running water. Use a small brush if necessary to remove any residue.
  4. Heating Base: Wipe the heating base with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
  5. Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar (or a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions). Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup. Empty the kettle, rinse thoroughly several times, and boil fresh water a few times to remove any residual vinegar taste.
  6. Storage: Store the clean and dry kettle and its base in a safe, dry place. The base features a winding design for easy cord storage.
