To maintain optimal performance and appearance, clean your mouse regularly:
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the mouse's finish.
- Use a cotton swab or compressed air to clean dust and debris from crevices and the optical sensor.
2. Battery Care
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
- Charge the mouse when the battery indicator is low.
- If storing the mouse for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Ensure the mouse is powered on. Check the connection mode (2.4G, Bluetooth, or Wired) and ensure it matches your device's connection. For 2.4G, ensure the receiver is properly plugged in. For Bluetooth, re-pair the device. Try wired mode to rule out wireless issues. Ensure the battery is charged.
- Lag or intermittent connection:
- Move the mouse closer to the receiver/device. Avoid interference from other wireless devices. Ensure the mouse battery is sufficiently charged. For 2.4G, try a different USB port. For Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth drivers are up to date.
- DPI not changing:
- Ensure you are pressing the correct DPI switch button. If using the Web Cloud Driver, verify settings are applied correctly.
- Side buttons not working:
- Check if the buttons are configured correctly in the Web Cloud Driver software. Ensure no other software is conflicting with the mouse button assignments.
