5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Playing Audio

After successful Bluetooth pairing, simply start playing audio from your connected device. The sound will be transmitted through the speaker's bone conduction technology. For optimal bass and volume, ensure the speaker is firmly attached to a resonant surface.

5.2 Dual Speaker Stereo Pairing

If you have two Vbestlife Bone Conduction Speakers, they can be paired together to achieve a stereo sound effect. Follow the instructions below:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. Double-press the power button on one speaker (this will be the primary speaker). It will search for the second speaker.
  3. Once connected, both speakers will indicate successful pairing (e.g., a confirmation tone or specific light pattern).
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 4.3. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.

5.3 Intercom Function (Hands-Free Calls)

With the built-in microphone, you can answer calls directly through the speaker when connected to your smartphone. When a call comes in, press the power button once to answer. Press it again to end the call. The microphone allows for clear voice communication.

5.4 FM Radio

To activate the FM radio function, ensure the speaker is not connected to any Bluetooth device. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds (or a specific button if available, not explicitly mentioned but common for FM). The speaker will scan for available FM stations. Short press the power button to cycle through stations. (Note: Specific controls for FM tuning may vary; refer to the quick start guide if provided with your unit).

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Charging: Use only the provided USB cable for charging. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Suction Cups: Keep the suction cups clean and free of dust or debris to maintain optimal adhesion.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Speaker does not power on.Battery is drained.Charge the speaker using the provided USB cable.
Cannot pair via Bluetooth.Speaker is not in pairing mode or too far from device.Ensure speaker is on and indicator is flashing. Move device closer. Forget device on your phone and re-pair.
No sound or low volume.Volume too low on speaker or connected device; speaker not attached to a resonant surface.Increase volume on both speaker and device. Ensure speaker is firmly attached to a suitable surface.
Poor sound quality.Weak Bluetooth connection; surface not ideal for bone conduction.Move closer to the connected device. Try attaching the speaker to a different, more resonant surface (e.g., a larger, hollow box, a window).
FM radio not working.Poor signal; speaker still connected to Bluetooth.Ensure no Bluetooth device is connected. Try moving to an area with better signal reception.

8. User Tips

  • Surface Matters: Experiment with different surfaces (e.g., wooden tables, glass windows, cardboard boxes) to discover varying sound profiles and bass levels. Hollow objects often produce the most pronounced bass.
  • Optimal Placement: For the best bone conduction effect, ensure the speaker's suction cups are clean and the speaker is pressed firmly against the chosen surface.
  • Battery Life: To maximize battery longevity, avoid frequently letting the battery completely discharge. Charge it regularly.
  • Portability: Utilize the included lanyard for easy carrying when not attached to a surface.
