NOTE: Make sure the wiring is correct before powering, otherwise the product may be damaged.

Firmware Compatibility
Consider the following recommendations for firmware compatibility:
- M10-12 and M10-18 GPS (without compass): Recommended for use with BF (Betaflight) firmware.
- M10-25Q GPS (with QMC5883L compass): Recommended for use with INAV firmware.

5. Operating Instructions
Satellite Acquisition
The M10 series GPS modules are designed for fast satellite search and positioning. The larger the antenna area, the faster the search speed for satellites. The M10-25Q has the largest antenna area, followed by M10-18, and then M10-12.
Output Protocol and Frequency
- M10-12 and M10-18: Utilize the UBLOX output protocol.
- M10-25Q: Supports NMEA/UBLOX dual protocol and I2C (Mag) for compass data.
- All models have an adjustable output frequency from 1Hz to 10Hz, with a default setting of 10Hz.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SEQURE M10 GPS module, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Keep Dry: Protect the module from moisture and humidity. Water damage can lead to malfunctions.
- Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Operate and store the module within the specified temperature ranges (-40°C to +85°C for operation, -40°C to +105°C for storage).
- Handle with Care: The modules are small and contain delicate electronic components. Avoid dropping or subjecting them to physical shock.
- Cleanliness: Keep the module free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry brush or compressed air if cleaning is necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GPS module, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- No GPS Lock or Slow Acquisition:
- Ensure the drone has a clear, unobstructed view of the sky.
- Verify all wiring connections (5V, GND, TX, RX) are secure and correctly matched to your flight controller.
- Check for potential electromagnetic interference from other electronic components on your drone.
- Incorrect Positioning or Drifting:
- For the M10-25Q (with compass), ensure the compass is properly calibrated according to your flight controller's instructions.
- Minimize magnetic interference by positioning the GPS module away from power wires, motors, and ESCs.
- Module Not Detected by Flight Controller:
- Double-check the TX and RX connections between the GPS module and the flight controller. They should be cross-connected (GPS TX to FC RX, GPS RX to FC TX).
- Verify that the baud rate setting in your flight controller's firmware matches the GPS module's baud rate (115200).
- Ensure the module is receiving the correct 5V power supply.
- Module Damaged After Powering:
- Immediately disconnect power.
- Carefully review your wiring against the provided diagram to ensure no incorrect voltage or polarity connections were made.
8. User Tips
- The M10-25Q model includes a QMC5883L compass, which is beneficial for applications requiring precise heading information. Ensure proper calibration for optimal performance.
- For mini FPV racing drones and micro whoops, the miniaturized M10-12 is ideal due to its compact size and light weight.
- Always double-check wiring connections before applying power to prevent damage to the module or flight controller.
- Consider the antenna area: larger antennas (M10-25Q) generally provide faster satellite acquisition.
