5. Setup

5.1 Mounting the Dash Cam

1. Choose a suitable location on your dashboard that does not obstruct your view or interfere with airbags.
2. Clean the dashboard surface thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of the base.
3. Attach the base to the dash cam unit.

5.2 Power Connection

1. Connect the provided car charger (power cable) to the Type-C port on the dash cam.
2. Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's 12V/24V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
3. For 24-hour parking monitoring and time-lapse video features, a professional custom power cable (hardwire kit) is required. This cable connects directly to your vehicle's fuse box (BAT+, GND, ACC). Consult a professional for installation if you are unsure.

5.3 Rear Camera Installation (Optional)

If your package includes a rear camera:

1. Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the main dash cam unit.
2. Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior to the rear of the car.
3. Mount the rear camera in a suitable location, typically above the license plate, ensuring a clear view.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• The device will typically power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.

1. On the dash cam, select the AirPlay or Miracast option.

The dash cam offers multiple audio output options:
