1. Package Contents

2. Setup

2.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the Xiaomi Sound Pocket. Connect the provided charging cable to the speaker's charging port and a 5V 1A power adapter (not included). A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

2.2 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually indicated by a power symbol or located on the top/side) for a few seconds until you hear an audible cue or see an indicator light.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button again for a few seconds until the indicator light turns off or you hear a power-off sound.

2.3 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your Xiaomi Sound Pocket to a device via Bluetooth:

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will typically flash.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Xiaomi Sound Pocket" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid.

The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.4 for a fast and stable connection, ensuring lossless audio quality.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Controls

The speaker features intuitive controls for media playback and volume adjustment:

• Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume.
• Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume.
• Play/Pause/Skip (Triangle/Arrow button): Press once to play or pause music. Double-press to skip to the next track.

3.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

You can connect two Xiaomi Sound Pocket speakers to create a stereo sound experience:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker, long press the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds. This speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically pair with each other, operating as left and right channels respectively.
4. Once paired, connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth as described in section 2.3.

3.3 Hands-free Calling

The Xiaomi Sound Pocket features a built-in microphone for hands-free calling:

• When an incoming call is received, press the Play/Pause button once to answer the call.
• Press the Play/Pause button again to end the call.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean your speaker, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

4.2 Water and Dust Resistance (IP67)

The Xiaomi Sound Pocket is IP67-rated, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. While it is resistant to water and dust, it is not waterproof. Avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to saltwater or other liquids. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

5. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and check if the charging indicator lights up.
• Cannot Pair via Bluetooth:
  • Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing Bluetooth indicator).
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Move the speaker closer to your device.
  • Forget the speaker from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  • Restart both the speaker and your device.
• No Sound or Low Volume:
  • Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the speaker is properly connected via Bluetooth.
  • If using TWS, ensure both speakers are correctly paired and connected to your device.
• TWS Pairing Issues: Ensure both speakers are disconnected from other devices before attempting TWS pairing. Follow the TWS pairing steps carefully.

7. User Tips

• Maximize Portability: The speaker's compact and lightweight design (approx. 200g) makes it ideal for travel. Utilize the rubber anti-loss lanyard for secure carrying.
• Outdoor Use: With its IP67 dust and water resistance, the Xiaomi Sound Pocket is suitable for outdoor activities. Remember to close the charging port cover when near water.
• Enhanced Audio: For a more immersive audio experience, consider purchasing a second Xiaomi Sound Pocket and pairing them using the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) function.
• Battery Life: To optimize battery life, especially during extended listening sessions, consider playing music at moderate volumes. The speaker offers approximately 10 hours of playback at 40% volume.
